New Year Resolutions for 2014......with a completely NEW slant !!!

As Michael has supplied us with his Resolution for 2014 thought would get this thread underway and Michael's Resolution is.............. 

"My 2014 resolution is to spend more time in a state of gratitude for every moment I have and to especially show it for my family, friends & fans. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! LET'S MAKE IT GREAT!!"

 

........along with, I believe, a selfie which think has been taken whilst Michael has been out sightseeing in Galati, Romania.

Please feel free to pop in whenever you like to share with us your New Year Resolutions or, as Sylvie and I like to do, which is to set ourselves goals per month to try and achieve rather than the one for the whole year......a little bit of a variation on the theme and we have had fun doing it for over the past couple of years and hope 2014 proves to be as much fun and as they always say, the more the merrier, so please consider coming in and joining us.......everyone is more than welcome !!!! :)    BTW Sylvie and I also try to make it every Monday when we come in and compare notes but absolutely no restriction on when anyone prefers to come in....none whatsoever !!! :)

Believe the following, which Sylvie was sent, is more than appropriate to be placed on here and hope you all enjoy it !! :) 

The New Year       will suddenly appear on the horizon

The       Boarding on Flight 2014  Has been       announced.....
Your luggage       should only contain the best souvenirs from 2013
The bad and       sad moments should be left in the garbage....
The duration of       the flight will be 12 months.
The next       stop-overs will be :
Health,       Love, Joy, Harmony, Well-being and Peace.

All accompanied  By       burst of laughter

Hi Petra, yes I knew she was "pulling our leg". :D Sylvia tried to trick us 2 years ago  and I caught on about the trick right away and I'm sure that Sylvia thought, since she had not tried last year, that I wouldn't suspect her this year. I thought later in the evening (yesterday):  is Mr. Olaf  going with Sylvia  to MB's concert? or not? is he jealous of MB?

,Thanks everyone and I am just so pleased some of you got a right good laugh at it......that is my only intent in life to get people laughing !!!! :)

I had forgotten Mary about my other "marriage" a couple of months ago but just goes to show how quickly you can get a divorce nowadays and how fickle I am that I've forgotten all about him already !!!!! LOL   Still hope you got a laugh Mary even though you did suss me out  !!! :)

Thanks too Petra for giving me a laugh today with your picture of REVENGE and for Sylvie what Petra has put in is a picture of a cat sitting on a cushion which is on top of a dog and the caption is:  "Today the dog. Tomorrow the World!"

Thanks for your messages Sylvie for I got a good laugh at one yesterday when you had sussed me out and thanks for keeping quiet and not spilling the beans on me.  Have to say adore your message today and please, please help with getting me into the witness protection programme for am sure some may just be seriously after me and revenge won't come in just the shape of a fun picture......pretty sure on that one  !!!!!! LOL  As they say think I had better watch my back for a little while....like for ever !!!! LOL

Again thanks everyone for other messages I received through e-mail and PM's and I have to admit that some of the messages I received really made me wish it wasn't an April Fool's because they really were so lovely and believe it or not, I did feel a slight element of guilt at what I had done but it was only slight, like as in, lasting for about 10 seconds and then I started howling with laughter !!!! :)

You can all rest assured there will be no April Fool's jokes played next year by me.......cough, cough, cough !!!!!! LOL.

Hey Sylvia, thanks for the description, cute picture! No problem for not spilling the beans, I knew you'd be thrilled. :D Hmm, now if you want a try at the WPP, can you muster up a Texas accent? lol All I can say is good luck with that one! XD Now as far as messages from people, I think that proves that we have genuinely kind  and sweet people on here, but you'll probably find out how quickly they can turn on you next year! lol Take care Sylvia and have a great day. Kathy T I believe everyone will be before me because I am certain my mother's prophecy has come true that there is no man out there who would be daft enough to marry me !!!!!! LOL

Must admit I am still getting a laugh even today for Silvy called me "Silly Sylvia" and you are calling me "Stinker Sylvia" and if I had married Olaf I would have been "Sylvia Sproil" .......all the initials add up to SS....maybe I should put an "A" in front of that for the complete description and again know, there are quite a few who would agree with that.....LOL
