MBC FUNDRAISER AT MOHEGAN SUN ARENA

On Saturday, April 5, 2014, The Mohegan Tribe will host a special evening on behalf of The Michael Bolton Charities at the Cher concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The evening will include an exclusive pre-concert cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception and Tibal Box Seating to the concert. The event is limited to 100 guests. Includes breakfast, lunch and a post event awards reception with raffle prizes and a silent auction. The MBC has been assisting organizations in Fairfield County that support children and women at risk of domestic violence, abuse, poverty and homelessness for over 21 years.

Sylvie what is making the video so special are the children in the choir for they are just delightful. They are standing on stage to Michael's left and they are all dressed, in own clothes not uniform, but all in white tops and they range in ages from teenagers to little ones of about 7 or 8 and there are three adults with them; one woman and two men out front one who is appearing to conduct the children but they are just having such a whale of time they don't need conducting. There is also a man and woman on stage dressed differently who I assume are possibly "employees" of the Center, directors or administrators but they are joining in too and having a ball !!! :) The little girl who is in the photo that her dad sent meeting Michael is dancing up and down and singing away and everytime Michael sings, lean on me, she has an imaginary microphone that she puts to her mouth and it is the same move every time and she about beats Michael with his rusty chain and Jesus impression for she has got it so off pat....she is a little dear and you can see that she has a little bit of Down's Syndrome and I bet she is still dancing today and there is another child who has obviously gone through chemo but each and everyone is radiating such fun and joy at being on that stage for what they appear more like, if you can remember ever having seen, a Gospel Choir; they are all dancing and moving at different times in their own particular way that the music touches them and it is just so lovely to see. You can also see that Michael is loving it too and he constantly turns to look at the children as he is singing. It is just such a delightful and lovely video and so glad the Center made it and shared it and also too it is beautiful the way it is presented for it has a gold header and footer and on header it has written: "San Diego Center for Children" and on the footer it has: "Michael Bolton with San Diego Center for Children Choir" and both are written in script.
