Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread. The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc. This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time in 2014 to all of you!!!

Ladies, I have a question for those attending the UK performances. You have probably written about it but trying to scan through quickly I'm not seeing...but is Michael singing Steel Bars in the concerts now?
Hi Gail, I think Sylvia mentionned taking a picture of Michael when he does the jump during "Steel bars" during her second show, so assuming this means yes! :D Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
Can't say if he sang steel bars at other venues in the UK but he certainly sang it at Wolverhampton. I hope he does at the other shows i'm going to next week but i'm really glad to here Soul Provider was in the set list last night. Hope it stays in for the rest of the tour.
Hi Gail, do you do and publish statistics? I sometimes ask myself if certain songs that never made it to the top of the charts may have been performed live by Michael, e.g. 'Need you to fall' and many others? Did he ever do MTV unplugged? B
Hi Barbara, if I can answer your question, Michael has performed plenty of songs that didn’t make it to the top and some that may have never even charted. To my knowledge, Michael never did “MTV Unplugged”, but he did do A&E’s “Live by request” in ’98. I hope that answers your questions. Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
Good Morning Sylvie, many thanks for your feedback. So does anyone keep a record on setlists? I just googled A&E but cannot find Michael's 'Live by request' to watch, any clue on where do find it? Have a nice day, B
Good morning Barbara, on statistics, I’m afraid I don’t know. I’m pretty sure if a few of us would put our heads together, we could come up with songs that have never left the playlist ever like TLT, DOTB and WAMLAW that Michael must have sung 8 billion times, even in short concerts. To my knowledge, Michael can sing up to 4 songs from a current album during the average concert, but usually 1 or 2, depending on the album. As far as “Live by request”, for some reason, it never did come out on DVD like others have. You can watch it at my house though! :D They do have “Michael Bolton’s winning softball” VHS and some parts of “This is Michael Bolton” on YouTube, but none of “Live by request”, unfortunately. I hope that answers your question! Take care Barbara. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada :D
