Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread. The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc. This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Hello ladies!! Well I have no idea what day it is or what time it is or barely where I am!! OMG...what a trip this has been!! Anyway...I will try to add a bit of new info that Sylvia might have forgotten in her EXCELLENT review ;) Here goes......
Glasgow Scotland
May 16th 2014
We arrived to pick up Sylvia at her home in Largs a little later than planned. We still had time to take a few photos in her cute garden!! Her home is quite delightful and you can tell she is a MB fan ;) We set off to the concert and Sylvia is quite confident she KNOWS where we are going. Bob is thrilled because then she could just call out directions. Well.....how did that work Wee One??? The highway went fine and then into Glasgow...mind you where Sylvia grew up all her life....well suddenly Sylvia became a tourist!! lol Oh my...lol Sylvia says..."turn here...I believe the venue is there...we enter a parking garage and CAN'T get out without paying!! Who wants to park here?? We have no idea where the venue is or how far we will have to walk etc to find it and our "local" passenger is as lost as we are!! Omg...LOL..back to all the laughing..except Bob doesn't find it funny which makes it funnier to us!! Was that a snort Sylvia???? LOL
Shameful behavior from the giggle nuts in the back seat!! We have to pay to exit the parking structure and we go around the corner and voila...there IS the venue. Perfect directions Wee One!! Your Scot speak directions are right on my friend :) Soooo we get out of the car and I tell Ryan I will call or text him when we are ready to leave after the M&G.
Sylvia and i attempt to enter but of course the building has construction going on so we are told to walk to another entrance on another street. Oh great...did you get those directions Sylvia? Of course she did ;) and she was as lost as I was!! lol As we are looking for the "new" entrance along comes two of her compatriots. Oh boy....full Scot speak now!!! Three against one...I surrender. This older couple...a sweet husband and wife INSIST on taking our photo BUT the wife also INSISTS that Sylvia holds up her concert ticket for the photo. Mind you...this wife has our Wee One CONFUSED!!! Can you imagine such a thing??? Not I but I witnessed it and it is true!! Sylvia says to her..."of course I have a ticket...why do you want my ticket??" Sylvia pulls out her ticket as proof of ownership and the wife grabs at it. Oh no you don't touch Sylvia's coveted MB ticket...lol Sylvia again asks what do you want with my ticket?? Finally we figure out "massive Scot speak on speed"and realize the wife wants Sylvia to HOLD her ticket in front of her just so and the husband clicks away!!! Omg...I tell Sylvia....NOW I understand how you were taught!! LOL Heck...I am exhausted before we even start the concert. We finally find the entrance and check in with the gal and get our VIP badges. OH MY!! What a wonderful feeling :))) We also find the merchandise table. No Joe present at the moment but I do buy another tshirt because the Glasgow shirts have the UK tour listed on back but I actually think the city of Glasgow isn't listed. Odd. We eventually find Joe at the table and we say hi and walk over to the cafe to have a soda while waiting for the doors to open. Sylvia says she would like to have a soda but did I bring money? Why of course I say and she says well good because I FORGOT my wallet and have no money...lol I think to myself...well no wonder she didn't offer to pay for the parking structure ticket where we had no intention of parking but for Sylvia's directions we get held hostage in the parking structure and HAVE to pay to get out and to the concert!! LOL A Wee One Wild Night Out!! It is now time for the doors to open....yippee!!!
We find our wonderful seats and Sylvia said they were on the left side but of course they are on the right side. I THINK I am beginning to get the hang of Scot speak...everything is the REVERSE of what one says!! lol Needless to say we had GREAT seats!! I see Ruki and we have a little chat. I then see Milo on the stage and he comes over to chat with me and he was as surprised as Ruki was to see me. Granted I told them both at Palm Desert that I would see them in Scotland but how can anyone remember anything on the road in different countries constantly? I am so out of the loop while I have been traveling! It was fun surprising them :))) We all felt like something was wrong with this picture...lol The delightful DJMartin from Scotland found us as well and we have NO clue how!! A fellow strolls up to us with a BIG smile and says Hi and I instantly say...DJ!!! Hi and how are you? I have NO clue how I even recognized him nor remember he wanted to meet us before the show.....lol Sylvia and I laughed at how all that worked out. We simply LAUGH at everything...LOL The lights go down and the guest singer appears but I can't remember her name!!! Sylvia remembered :) She was a good singer and had a sweet personality. Of course I am just tapping my fingers waiting for our Michael to appear and the moment arrives! Oh my...I am IN Scotland listening to Michael sing!! What dream is this???? The crowd is LOUD!! Of course I don't remember the song set but I see MB looking my way several times trying to place my face. I had to laugh because everyone had a hard time recognizing me because I have never worn my hair up for a concert...not to mention being in Scotland. Michael figures it out and he does lots of smiling and I smile back. It took Kelly a little while also to catch on and Jason caught on the soonest as he was the closest to me during the concert. Jason was having a blast with Sylvia as she wrote in her review :) Michael even had tiny shakes of his head...while singing mind you...signaling to me...what in the world are you doing here??? LOL We eventually get to shake hands at the stage and he actually appears to want to bend down further and say something.....he sings and laughs...and can't believe it. He continues doing that each time he gets to our side of the stage. It was too funny :) Michael's voice was INCREDIBLE!! He gave his ALL over and over again for each song! AND then he starts with JACK SPARROW!!! OH NO....AGAIN??? OMG! OMG! How can this be that I attend 2 concerts and MB sings JS??? Now he has me SURPRISED!!! OMG...I start screaming like a teenager!!! Mind you I have already yelled out JS during the concert...lol I could NOT believe it!! Okay....the concert can end...I had my thrill!!! Call it a night...WOW!! And the best was yet to come...the M&G....oh my! Michael and the band out performed themselves and the crowd was LOUD! No holding back at this concert and several times Michael just succumbed to the crowd and took a few steps backward and laughed. He had no chance of stopping the noise from this crowd! No way! Sylvia and I chair danced all night until we got to the stage. We had all 4 legs and feet movin' to the beat. At the stage we even hip bumped several times and threw in swaying motions. We were on a roll. We were the New Supremes!! Michael Bolton and the Supremes or perhaps the Boltonettes LOL Awwww...time for the final bow. It was quite warm with all the crowd dancing and singing and some fresh air would be nice :) Oh boy....time to gather for the M&G....
We slowly walk our way over to the area of the M&G ;) We chat with some other fans and along comes Kelly who is sweetly chatting and taking photos with the fans. She is building excitement for the impending release of her new cd! Good job Kelly!! I collect a signed card from her also :) It is time for the MB photos to start! We keep repositioning ourselves. I catch Milo's and MB's eyes and we smile :) I tell Sylvia to go first and enjoy herself as she had a couple of gifts to pass to Michael. I figured hours would pass...LOL She had a magic bag that stored everything AND the kitchen sink!! lol I waited while the Wee One confused MB...lol Then it was my turn and Michael gave me a hug and of course I returned the favor ;) He said it was nice to see me so far from home and we chatted a bit. I gave him my little JS gift :) I also brought with me from home a BEAUTIFUL pillow cover/seat cushion cover that Sylvia had made up for me as a gift from the sentimental photo of MB with me and Ashley and Little Pam at the NewPort concert. I decide to pass on having MB sign it as lots of time was already being used and while I am chatting with Michael who should appear again talking Scot speak a mile a minute??? Why of course the Wee One....who has brought my bag forward and says...oh Michael you have to see this....and so the story goes!! LOL Michael's head is now spinning as he THOUGHT the Wee One had left the building!!! lol I try to translate and show MB the cloth photo and he recognizes Ashley and all of us and asks questions about the photo and such.Then I mention Little Pam passing away and he said thanks for letting him know of her passing as I gave him a memorial booklet from her ceremony when I saw Milo at the Chumash concert. Sylvia is still at Scot speak speed and Michael finally says....what would you like me to do??? LOL Omg Sylvia....you were in full throttle :)) I calmly ask Michael if he would please sign the last photo I have of Little Pam and he and I together since she passed. He said sure but he had no pen and was concerned about the ink color showing. No worries I say....I have a pen. Imagine that??? LOL I show where he could sign his name and I tell him that he had just made Little Pam smile! Michael looked warmly at me after that comment. You could tell he was saddened by her passing. Happy to do that he says :) Michael was sooooo kind and sweet!! We chatted a bit more and as I left Michael Milo then came up and hugged and kissed me on the cheek....awwww....these guys are soooo sweet. Thank you Michael for our little visit and Milo you are adorable! I hope I followed your directions well enough? ;) Here is my MB photo...Michael is slightly recovering from Wee One's pinch...lol
What an emotional night for me as this entire trip has been. I am in the middle of meeting family I have never met and in the midst of helping other family in Canada (whom I have been emailing just recently) complete our ancestry tree as I speak with family here!! So much to do and soooo little time!! And then MB in Scotland AND he sings Jack Sparrow AGAIN??? As I said earlier...my life is complete!! Pinch me...is this all for real?? Neve mind Wee One ...you didn't hear the pinch part!!! LOL THANK YOU Michael for Jack Sparrow as I FORGOT to thank you while we chatted. My goodness ...there was so much to talk about :)))) Anyway ladies....I am off to another busy day here in Aberdeen Scotland!! The folks are soooo friendly here and they ALL love to chat!! lol Definitely reminds me of my grandmother!! THANK YOU Sylvia for many wonderful visits and GREAT food at the Lounge and all our LAUGHING and YOUR snorts!! Omg...ROFL thinking back on all of it!! Ryan even said he was about to tease you on the snorts but of course I jumped in with my perfect imitation and the rest is belly laughs and memories!!

Hi Kathy, thanks for the wonderful complement to Sylvia’s review. Girl, I’m only reading this and I’ve concluded why you’ll need a vacation from your vacation: Scot speak is exhausting! Lol Hey, maybe “Scot speak” is like “stage speak” so it’s “stage left” instead of our left... :D Maybe Michael would have placed you sooner if you had pointed at him Kathy. :D You really did a vivid description: I remember experiencing that feeling once, where Michael is overwhelmed by the crowd and starts laughing... I’m glad Sylvia left you to describe your M&G with Michael, that was a lovely description Kathy. A huge thanks for it all, enjoy the last days of your trip and safe travels home.
