MB Dates Added Part 2
I was having trouble with the MB Dates Added thread going to the last page so I'm thinking it is at it's limit so starting this new thread.

You are going to find a number of things on the web and on band member's websites before I announce, or they end up in the Tour section here, or MB's official Facebook and I want to explain why. Michael's management and tour people start setting things up and working with promoters and venues most times a long time before we hear about them. There are logistics that have to be worked out as well as schedules, deposits, agreements, etc that are all signed and ok'd before Michael's people consider them confirmed. The band member's may put them on their websites also before we do because they are given the dates while they are being worked on, so they will hold those dates in their busy schedules as well. A lot of the band do other gigs when they aren't with Michael so they are asking them to hold those dates. Promoters and venues sometimes post before all is confirmed on Michael's end as well because they want to get the word out and tickets sold but sometimes that works against them and most of us have seen that happen when a concert doesn't work out and tickets have to be refunded or taken down with no explanation. Most of the times the ones you find on websites of the venues or band member's sites do work out but because there is the chance they might not until all i's are dotted we don't post on the main page until it is!!

Michael has had to cancel his concert tonight due to illness. That's all I know right now but the Mayo Center does want to reschedule. Gail

This concert has been rescheduled for February 16th. Your tickets from the November 30th show and seating will still apply for the new dates. Sorry for any inconvenience but Michael is not feeling well at all at this time. Hopefully, by not trying to do tonight's concert he can continue on Wednesday.

Sorry Michael has been sick,hope he is recovering and back to himself soon. I have a question for you Gail. I thought Michael was performing with Amanda Brown for this tour and that Kelly had left. Why the change? I have seen Michael perform with Kelly Levesque and she complements her talents well with Michael, but I was looking forward to seeing Amanda Brown for the Holiday performance at the Palladium in Indiana.
Maybe I was misinformed, still looking forward to attending, but I hope that Kelly won't steel the show,to me she puts herself out there a little much, which takes away from Michael...

Hi Kellie.....glad to hear you have an upcoming show....CONGRATS !! :). My two cents worth is that in the beginning I think Kelly was new and possibly adjusting as well to mingling her voice with MB's. As they have progressed together over 5 years from the time I first heard Kelly perform with MB they have mastered blending their voices together beautifully. I was extremely impressed in Pacola, OK a few weeks ago, they sounded fantastic together. I am sorry you will not get to hear Amanda perform with MB, she is awesome, but I think you will not be disappointed at your next concert. I wish you a fantastic time and enjoy, Kellie !! :). Hugs,

Hi Kellie, I don’t know what’s the situation with Amanda, but it’s my understanding that Michael is helping Kelly out promoting her new CD:

I’m a little fuzzy on the details, but somehow, her CD is to support awareness on domestic violence. I think Sylvia mentioned this was only temporary. I think the reason you might think Kelly takes away from Michael might be that Kelly used to sing pop/opera, so she’s used to projecting more. I checked Amanda’s site which doesn’t list any upcoming events though, so I don’t know when or if she’ll be back touring with Michael, sorry Kelly. Take care sweetie.
