Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

I was checking out Kellie Brown's pics she posted on the MB Dates Added thread and she caught one from the side of my hubby and Kelly after the show same time that I was taking them straight on.  LOL  Jeff said he didn't mind his pic being on MB's fan site so I had to bring it over here to this thread!LOL  I mentioned this to Kellie Brown in the other thread.  Too funny. I have some of him and Kelly too but hope you don't mind I posted it  here.  He really enjoyed the show and meeting her after and chatting and her hugging him twice made his night!LOL It was fun for me taking him along both times this year.

Just a preview to my review coming later when I can get my head together.

I have a few here I took of Kelly and one of her with my hubby I took.  She was so sweet and fun to talk with.  I adore her and wish her all the best with her own career.

The Palladium, Carmel, IN 12/6/2015

Hi everyone.  I just got home late last night from Indiana. Michael and the band really rocked it at The Palladium.   My hubby and I took a trip this time together to go to the show and do a side trip yesterday on our way home. We had a really fun time away, early Christmas gift to ourselves.

We had seats in the front row just off center stage and the seats were at the stage which wasn’t very high. That always works.  The venue is beautiful in that it’s red and white inside and there are tiered sections of seats way up high all way around and some even behind MB off to the sides. He was waving to folks up there off and on all night!  Michael commented on the beautiful venue.  The sound was amazing in there too.

They said we could take all the pics we liked just no flash photography. So I used my camera w/o flash and motion setting. MB came out and gave the rules of taking all the pictures you like, just get him in best lighting or something to that effect.  He walked out and before he started the show he was at center stage and looked down and I waved. He smiled and said hi and I told him I had my husband with me. So he repeated it and looked at Jeff and asked how many shows!! (LOL here we go). Jeff said three but I then said actually it’s four.  MB laughed and said they have a discrepancy already or something like that. I also then said this was my 145th show tonight. So then he smiled and said 145 and 4 and they are still talking. LOL We laughed and I said of course. He then said thank you for coming and then went on to talk about the opening song!  He then went and sat and got his guitar for To Love Somebody. LOL It was the perfect time to tell him and I didn’t have to yell as we were right there in front of him.  Jeff took it all in stride and thought it was kinda neat I think. LOL

MB did basically the same songs as in Ohio but added in at the end a really jazzy version of Santa Clause is Coming to Town and didn’t do TLT or Steel Bars.  It was ok tho as he really rocked it.

Oh and I am jumping around but a new thing we had was Kelly and Jason both had sax’s up there and they played together during the first guitar set. It was really neat seeing her playing the horn as well as singing! Go Kelly.  Jeff noticed it and I took some pics of them up there. I will post them when I can.

Michael sounded great and was in a good mood.  He was funny and when he was in the early part of the show where he sings You Don’t Know Me and That’s Life, he started to walk off and get his jacket off for Sweet Home Chicago and stopped and said I’m getting a bit ahead, he had  NOT sung That’s Life yet!LOL  He was ready to rock and roll I guess with his guitar!! LOL

Sweet Home Chicago rocked and Jeff loves rock music and he enjoyed it a lot too even with it being more blues, he liked the guitar jamming. LOL  MB stopped right in front of us and played the guitar and it was fun getting some close ups of him jamming on his blue guitar smack in front of us.  After that one he tossed the guitar pic to me and at first we thought it was on the floor and then I saw it in my lap.  Great aim MB!!LOL  Jeff looked at it and put it in his shirt pocket for me.  He thought that was kinda cool!!! LOL

Then Kelly came out to do the duets and of course everyone loved her. MB asked her to talk again about her charity and he asked if she was signing CD's after the show and she was and some guy yelled out of MB was and he said no, he had pictures to take with people. Then that person said something and MB was like wait a minute, as if the person wanted to then also. I am sorry I could not catch what the person said clearly. It made MB laugh.  LOL   Kelly is awesome singing with MB and rocking out dancing and having fun up there with MB.  Jeff didn’t get to see her last time, he liked Amanda too he said later and he really enjoyed getting to see Kelly sing with MB and do her set of medley’s too.  What guy wouldn’t!!LOL  He knew the songs also that she sang in her medley that MB wrote.  We gave MB and  Kelly a standing O for The Prayer.  They truly did an amazing job on that one.

When MB came into the audience he was just over to our left and came out a side door and we stood at the stage to watch and when he got back up on stage to the left of us to finish WAMLAW we stood a little bit but then everyone sat back down.  The crowd was louder the second half and MB commented the place had gotten loud.    When MB was going back and forth for How Can We Be Lovers he stopped and put the mic down once in front of me to sing. It was fun. Jeff just laughed. He knows that’s my fav all time concert song..:)

Then for the encore MB came out and they rocked out on Santa Clause is Coming To Town and everyone loved it. I’d not seen him do that one in a while and he commented they’d not done that in a while.  You would never know it, they killed it!!!  It was a great Christmas song to do at the end of a show. Then the last song was Georgia.  Someone yelled out they wanted Steel Bars but he didn’t sing it.  I had MB’s Christmas card along with me so at the very end after he was done Georgia and back center stage saying thank you to the audience we all were standing and clapping and I held out the card and he took it and said Thank You Robin in the mic. Then a male fan to the left of us had a vinyl copy of one of MB’s older albums, I think it was Michael Bolotin, and MB said you got me there to whatever the person said and they reached and MB leaned over and signed it for him.  He had my card under his arm the whole time. LOL He kept it during the line-up and walked off stage with it.  I was glad to get it to him that way. I have some good pics at the end of him signing that guy's album and with the card and the girls and the line-up.  The audience really gave MB the love!!  I have some cute pics here and there I have to get organized, I snapped away most of the night!  I couldn’t help it!LOL

I had seen Joe at the merchandise stand earlier as we went by and I introduced Jeff and they shook hands. LOL I purchased another copy of Kelly’s CD single for Jeff to get signed after the show.

We went out to the merchandise stand and Kelly was already there.  She was so sweet and seemed happy to meet Jeff and said how she enjoys seeing me and the familiar faces down front at the shows.  She hugged us both twice and we chatted a little and she was so nice in taking two pics with Jeff.  I took the pic I posted of her with his signed copy of her single too. LOL He will have fun sharing the pics with his friends at work. It was wonderful to see and talk to her and that made the night exta special.  I hope she continues to be with MB next year but we never know.  I had gotten one with her in OH so I just asked for him to get one this time.

So all in all it was another fun night with MB and the band.  They really rocked and it was fun having Jeff along again to experience it all with me. He seemed to really get into it and gets at kick out of Michael and said how funny and quick he is with the come-backs. He also likes bass players and was amazed at Nelson. He was on our side and Jeff was able to watch him rockin out and talked about that a lot after too.  He thought he was awesome.

Thank you Michael and band and everyone for another fun year of shows.  I am excited to see what next year’s shows will be like.  This one was my last one for 2015.

Thanks for reading this long review. Pics will be up as soon as I can work on them.
