Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Hi Gail, terrific article and how lucky they got "Nessun dorma"! That was a really nice review, thanks a lot Gail, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Article on Michael arriving in Glasgow, with photos, and about show tonight.   There is also a little vid of him, in the tweet, (sorry can't get a link) out in the street saying hello and that he is glad to be back in Glasgow......lovely to see him in city of my birth and especially lovely to know exactly where he is staying.  I laugh every time I think on the transformation of parts of Glasgow and especially that part for from time immemorial until, maybe last 25/30 years, that was a red light district and I mean a RED light district.  It's like the area, which isn't too far from where he is, where show is being held tonight for that was the rough, tough district of dockland and its resurrection is unbelieavable.....if the River Clyde didn't still flow there I wouldn't know the place and yet worked there for 21 years.

Everyone going to show tonight have a blast and let's raise the ROOF off the "ARMADILLO" !!! :)

Hi Denise and welcome to the forum. BTW, a belated happy birthday to you! Thanks very much for sharing your special time attending Michael's concert. I'd like to ask: do you think it was more emotional for you to be there on your birthday, or had it been too long since you saw him last? Our moderator Gail posted a wonderful article earlier on this thread and you might possibly find a link to the photo album of this concert and the whole U.K. tour, in case you'd like visual keepsakes. :D Was there one special moment for you? Just curious. In any case, thanks again for sharing Denise, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Hi

My good lady wife Janet as been a lifelong fan of Michael and has all the CDs etc.

She has seen him once at all the the last 7 or 8 tours UK tours

Both her and her best friend Rita go together and have always more than enjoyed the show and come home elated.

So it's a very special tour for her this year because she has terminal Lung Cancer and although it is slow growing she is determined to

enjoy this weekend at Sheffield with her best friend.

My son and myself have purchased a Meet and Greet for this event and hope she will enjoy the experience even more than just watching him on stage.

So thank Michael for all the pleasure he as given Janet and Rita.

I personally wish him well for the rest of the tour.

PS: Don't tell my dear wife that I also like his music.

Hello Janet’s husband, thanks very much for coming in and sharing with us. God bless you for getting her an M&G and I’m sure it’ll be one of the greatest thrills of her life, aside from having such a loving and supportive husband. :D Best wishes to you and your family, our prayers are with you. Take care and God bless you all. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

P.S.: I think your wife would love to hear you love Michael’s music, so think about it: what are you waiting for to tell her? :D

Cheers Sylvie

I am sure that Janet knows I like him.

We have been married for 48 years and for a long time she as been able to read my mind and my only comment usually is that three full albums of Michael is enough for me and can we listen to Simon and Garfunkel or Neil Diamond for a while.

Now the situation is she gets to play what she wants.

She was getting anxious about this Sunday because she sometimes has difficulty breathing and she worried about walking to the venue from the hotel but I have hired a wheelchair to take as backup.

I know she will have a wonderful time this Sunday so thanks once again for your best wishes.

Hi

Really hope Janet enjoys, have already been to Manchester show and can vouch Michael is as good as ever. What are her fave songs? Can I let you know if he sang them? Gabrielle is a really good opening act and Sam Fry duets perfectly, and I believe at Sheffield a local girl who won online comp to sing with Michael is performing. Love to you both, hope they enjoy, I am heading to RAH for that performance, having been going myself since 1991. Sat with a couple in Manchester and they were gobsmacked I been to so many, and saw Kenny G with Michael back in the day! aNd have the t shirts from then!! Lost my mum to Pancreatic cancer and yest was anniversary 6 years. So know what you going through. Enjoy every minute Janet. Take care

Love and regards, Julie. Xx
