Dresden Concert
Everyone, I've just gotten word that Michael's concert tomorrow night in Dresden has been cancelled as well. He is still under the weather and they want to be sure he recovers as quickly as possible so he has been told he needs to cancel and rest. There is no word right now of a reschedule but as soon as anything is available it will be posted.
Sorry...I know there will be disappointment but he needs to do this to get well.

Hi Gail, thanks for posting this. Well as I’ve commented on Michael’s latest blog, there are no short-cuts to good health so Michael needs to listen to his body and the doctor and take a break so he can recover fully sooner. I don't know of anyone who can heal from bronchitis in one or two days. If some people can’t understand thatMichael isn’t “made of steel”,tough cookies! :DThanks for the update sweetie, take care. Hi Sylvia, I don’t have anything to document this, but if I’m not mistaken, José Carreras has a charity event on every year and Michael has participated at least once or twice to it. Try typing in “José Carreras and Michael Bolton” on Youtube. Or maybe José’s web site might be more informative. I know Pilar has posted an article about another show Michael has to do in Italy on the 18th with different artists… Let’s just hope for his sake that he does heal quickly, this has to be upsetting for him too… Sending warm positive healing vibes your way Michael! To let you know two girls from Holland, Nicolette and Katja, answered my question on my profile notice board (for God`s sake Sylvie please don`t tell anyone - but I didn`t know I had a notice board in my profile - the things I`ve just discovered that are all in there - Jennifer sent me a note the other day and I did wonder about her use of the word profile but I just read her message from her e-mail - goodness gracious - it`s amazing what is all in there) and yes it is the show that Jose Carreras puts on each year for his Charity - Nicolette posted the programme for the show and it was pretty interesting reading it - for all I could because it was in German, but amazing when you know the subject, how much you can follow. Can understand why Michael wants to appear and, only to be hoped that the boy is well enough to do so.

Sylvia, my wee Scottish friend, you are a lot of fun to read! :D Don’t be embarrassed sweetie, we’re all learning here. But wait, there’s even more things to discover than meets the eye: there are PM’s or Personal Messages you can get or send also, but good luck finding your in-box, I still haven’t found mine! Lol I did find a roundabout way to access it though, thank goodness. Isn’t this forum great though? Anytime someone expresses they’re looking for something, info of almost any kind, related to Michael, there’s always someone willing to help! BTW, I did a little research myself this morning and I’m not sure when the José Carreras event is scheduled but Pilar posted an article to another event on the 18th here:

You are right they are two different events : one in Germany is for the Jose Carreras Charity and is being televised on 16th December and the other, in Assisi, is taking place on 18th December. As I have said, just hope the boy is well enough to take part in both because, I`m pretty sure, it will be a big disappoint to him if he isn`t!
I`m away to do my homework now and get into that profile page - you`ll never believe it - I have FOUND the in-box !!!!!!!!!! but, how to use it - that`s another story !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn`t know about PM`s - glad you said that was personal messages - I would have been looking for wee prime minister`s all over place!
Hey, I had good news today : Jennifer and Juliet are organising a UK fan reception for next year - AND - they are going to let me go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sylvia, have you read the article Pilar posted? Doesn’t it sound heavenly? I Know I’d be upset if I couldn’t participate in that… Good for you finding your in-box! Your in-box is to send and receive personal messages to and from your friends on the forum. When you’re in your in-box, you can click on “compose” and click on which friend to write to etc. Good luck experimenting with that too. Ah Juliet, there’s almost nothing I’d love more, unfortunately, I just can’t afford it. I missed a concert in March that was only a 2 hour drive away because I couldn’t afford the lodging… Michael came here in April of last year and promised us he’d be back for the “next record” and I’m still waiting… It had been over 10 ½ years since he had come last. Man, if I had the money, I’d go all over the place… Hmm, maybe I should start running Juliet, what do you think? :D Oh please, don’t feel self-conscious about saying “see”, I say it myself. I know I’d have a great time at the fan reception: I loved it the 2 times I went to the CT one. Well, if my ship comes in Juliet, I’ll be on it, thanks for the invitation! Take care sweetie. Hi again Juliet, I would really really love to go sweetie, but my financial situation has changed since I went to CT last and I’m dead serious when I say I can’t afford it. Kerie, the concert is on June 21 at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, CT. Don't have all the info right now but I'm told in January they will pass it on. I'll post as soon as I get it and keep watch on www.michaelboltoncharities.com or the charities facebook site.
