Bye Bye High Notes :-(

Does anyone else miss those really high falsetto notes he use to hit ? - I do, I used to love it when he "Really Took it over the top" -

Oh Sylvie thanks for your answer ! I like to talk about Michael's music. I absolutely love his 80's music which made me a fan in the first place . Fool's Game is a personal favourite, as are most of "The Hunger" and "Soul Provider". What I was trying to express is that what also makes a great artist according to me is to "age gracefully" and doing somethin "age appropriate". I have always loved the power and range in Michael's voice, that's what fist appealed to me, and by the way this power is still very much here in his current interpretations, but it does not bother me that he does not sing as high as he used to. If I want the "whoos" and the classic Bolton vocals I will go and listent o the Time LOve & Tenderness album, which I always enjoyr even after a 1000 plays. But I also love the "new vocals" with more middle range, more low notes I love all of Michael's voice : because he's got the feeling !!!

Matthieu, I think we're gonna be great friends! lol I'm not sure what your expertise is, but it's nice to hear from someone who seems to know what they're talking about, but also someone who can apreciate the feel of such a beautiful voice, without getting too technical about it... Although on my part, I've never felt that anything he sang was to the point of being painful... I do agree that Michael is terribly under-rated. You know it's like Michael himself said in a 2002 interview, music is processed like fast foods nowadays and a lot of people don't take the time to savor the good stuff! :D Nice talking to you Matthieu.
