I didn't really put in that request about "Sylvia" in a serious manner in the question - I've got all LOL's after it - which I think Michael would do if he ever reads it.....probably just laugh at the whole question !!!!   LOL.   Would you blame him - NO !!!!  LOL.

I'm just catching up on this thread and so glad to read that you put that question in about the "old videos" going onto DVD - it would be brilliant if they did !!!  :)

Wanted also to ask you if you have gone into the video section we have here on the website - some pretty good ones in there - official and otherwise and especially too some of the ones from interviews he has done over the years ....thought you might be interested if you haven't found already !!    You can find from here by scrolling up to top of page  and the "Video" section is in between "Gallery" and "About" !!  :)

Hi Sylvie,

just in case you might not know:

I own a DVD called Michael Bolton, The Essential and it includes/contains 1. Greatest Hits - The Videos and 2. This is Michael Bolton and 3. Bonus Videos 3.1 A Love So Beautiful and 3.2 The Best Of Love.

The DVD is from Sony in 2005 and subtitled: Visual Milestones and the cover photo is identical to the photo on the CD MB, The Essential

1. and 2. are identical to the videos I once owned, so I just miss Soul and Passion on DVD.

Hi Astrid, I know it exists sweetie, the problem is that it's in Pal region and doesn't play up here in Canada. I remember once, I was so excited because I had bought it from EBay and had it in my hands, but then my husband noticed it was in Pal region, which the EBay listings did not say and I was crushed...  When  the "We will remember them" CD/DVD was released, I bought it, but my husband was able to play it only once on the computer. I thought of another solution, because my daughter's boyfriend has a multi-region player, but he says sometimes some DVD's are tempermental and don't play on that either. Well, at least, I still have my VCR and take good care of my tape for now. Who knows, maybe they'll finally release it on DVD next year for the 20th anniversary! Those technical restrictions are really disappointing - whether it is DVD region or youtube or something else. Yet, let's keep our temper (lol) and relax. You are right - we've got hope and so many precious things might show up!

Thanks for mentioning that DVD - I haven't got so I am away onto Amazon to search for or maybe even go into eBay - hahahahaehehehehe !!!  LOL.

This is a great video Jennifer, the first time I saw this I was a bit shocked because I am used to seeing MB looking very different, very smart, the perfect gentleman. So when I see the tight trousers and dark hair makes me think it is some one else pretending to be him! lol Well at least the voice is the voice we all recognise just more raw and raspy! Also I think back then it must have been cool to not smile and be scary!! So glad we see a softer, maturer MB now... the music is still great... as always!
