Working on New CD - 2011

Well as you have seen posted in other threads, Michael is recording and working on his next CD.  I found this yesterday and thought you would enjoy.  Any findings or info you find on the new CD...please post it here..thanks!

You know the Rascal Flatts boys have been collaborating with Justin Beiber.

Now it seems the mega-country group is going with, uh, the opposite demographic.

Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts put up a picture of his group with Michael Bolton.

Jay tweets that they’re all writing a new song for Michael’s new album.

Won’t Justin be jealous?

Don't see MB / Paul McCartney, MB / Simon or Art Garfunkel working, sorry Sylvia. Neil Diamond possibly.

 

I do see The Boss working, or Bon Jovi. Now that would be fantastic. Would love MB to do something with Eric Clapton, Paul Weller or Paul Carrack too. Always thought Seal was a great shout, and it seems they've finally gotten it together. Would love to see something with Beyonce.

Hi James,

 

Yeah, maybe I was stretching it a bit too far - McCartney and the rest but it was really because of thinking how beautifully Michael sang "Yesterday" - that was where that idea was coming from !!  But I love your idea of Bon Jovi and Eric Clapton but someone I must add in is Orrin - then the title "Gems" would definitely fit perfectly !!! :)

My collaboration with Michael Bolton was unplanned: Agnes Monica

Indonesian singer Agnes Monica said on Thursday that her collaboration with world-famous recording artist Michael Bolton was unplanned.

Agnes reportedly sang a song titled “Say I Love You But I Lied” on the latest compilation album by Bolton.

Agnes said Bolton’s new album also featured Elton John and Eva Kennedy, tribunnews.com reported.

She said the offer to collaborate with Bolton came when she went to the U.S. for business.

“… Everything was so spontaneous. The collaboration [with Bolton] was not my main plan,” she said.

The 24-year-old Agnes has won a number of awards at home as the best female singer. She started her singing career when she was a child.

Thanks Jennifer for link - had listened to Pilar's video and had noted that Agnes mentioned Elton John's name and wondered if it was to do with Michael or that she was doing something herself with Elton.....looks as though my April Fool is coming true - how I wish I had put it out on this thread Sylvie which was my intention - I thought it was maybe a "joke" too far  -  if I had done it you all may have started to wonder if I had "inside" information - what a rumour I could have started there ....wonder what I can think up for 1st April, 2012 - the "joker" is thinking already !!!!!! LOL.  Come on Michael, announce about Elton, because that will be a WOW - another great reason to look forward to "Gems"  -  getting betterer and betterer and betterer !!!!! LOL.
