Welcome, Lana. Your review was awesome. "We all want more than one song from his new CD. Shucks. I wish he'd do a Christmas show.

Sorry didnt post last night but was really tired .
Ok here goes.

Firstly there was no support act .Michael started late at around 8.20(due to start at 8pm).I met Helen outside the venue at around 5.30 and we ended up waiting at the stage door for about an hour and half (it was bitter cold with galeforce winds)because we seen Michaels driver waiting outside. We decided at 7 to go and have something to eat as we thought Michael wouldnt come out as the show was on at 8 ,We are not sure if he left after we had gone but when we came back at 7.40 the car was gone so we figure because the car was gone and Michael was late that we may have just missed him :-(

He started with the intro to Go the distance which went into Soul provider. He was in great form and thanked evryone for coming to see him in "This hurricane".He said he started late because he was told the weather was delaying people getting to the venue, lol.
We did get the new song "sweet home Chicago" which was brilliant .Helen got a lot a of video and did manage to get this one for you all.I nearly got thrown out for taking pictures and standing up to dance.Do not like this venue ,it was new venue and Michaels 1st time to play there.I dont think he will do there next time as they didnt really want people to dance or stand up and we know he likes it when we get up and dance.
Andrea is on cloud 9 as she has had a tshirt for 20 years that she really wanted signed .When Michael started to talk about "Vintage she showed him her tshirt ,he laughed and said "now that is Vintage".She held it up to him with a marker and he said "I will sign it because you are so beautiful",she nearly fainted ,lol.
All in all we had a fab night but i will probably get grief for this but have to say it .Apart from the new Chicago song it was more or less the same concert we have seen for the past 4 years .I really want Michael to change things up a little .I dont want to hear Sintra or Vintage anymore .I would love some more from the new cd and some songs that havent been performed in a long time .Please change things around .I feel like i have seen the same show exactly for the past 4 years and although i would be so delighted to see you just to sit there for 2 hours i would really like just a couple more different songs .Will post pics in the picture section.xx

Cant get my album to upload .Anyone help.x
Hi Sharon, Thanks for posting.. So glad the show went on despite the bad weather there. Wow!! And MB signing a shirt at the stage, that's very rare, how lovely that he did it for her!!LOL I understand at times I've felt same way with the setlists of his shows, we want more new stuff in there as time goes on.. I was hoping by now he'd have Murder My Heart back in the setlist but he didn't add it back..At least you got the brand new song, over a week ago he didn't do that at our show and now I wish he had.. I LOVED the show, don't get me wrong but any time we get a new one it's very exciting.. Bummer the venue wasn't very nice about pics or dancing..darn....sounds like you guys had fun despite those things happening!!!!

I hope your tour continues to be fun over in your part of the world!!Love the photo!!!
Thanks for sharing!!

Hi Robin and Sharon, I understand what you mean about the setlist, I love Michael,s new album, especially Just One Love and Murder my Heart and would love for him to add these to the list in addtiion to Hope it,s too Late, and not do as many Sinatra songs.
By doing this it would be a perfect blend of classic hits and new material. I live in hope LOL!!

Hi Sharon and thanks for posting sweetie. There are no rules to how long after a concert you’re allowed to post Sharon so that’s perfectly fine you didn’t post last night. Oh, sorry it looks like you’ve missed Michael outside and the venue was so intolerant about people having a good time… Oh wow, can’t wait to hear from Helen and hear the video! Oh my goodness, how special for your friend Andrea! Aww, that’s so sweet of Michael… Well Sharon, you’re entitled to your opinion about the contents of the show. This forum is supposed to be for our opinions and if Michael wanted feedback, he got it! I personally think he should keep the songs, just make the show longer, that’s all: simple! Lol Well I’m glad you’ve had a good time overall sweetie. Do you have more shows coming up? Well in any case, thank you for sharing your review, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi Sylvie.I wouldnt mind if he kept them in and added new or different songs but we know he is only able to have a certain amount of time.I know it sounds selfish for me to say that about these song especially to the people who dont get to see him as often as us or have never seen him but i think if they know they have played somewhere and are playing a while later they could do a shuffle around .Wouldnt it be good for Mb to have alternative shows that he can switch to when he chooses .Just my opinion.
I am going to the Rah with the rest of the gang from here .Andrea is a member of this forum and many of the others ,she just doesnt post as often as some of us :-) xx
Hi Sharon, I do understand what you’re saying about changing the show around and I actually thought he said he was doing that, but from what I understand, he only changes one song or 2 per show. The thing is, if Michael goes to places where he hasn’t been in a while, he knows the fans want the hits they’ve come to love. Unfortunately, the show doesn’t only cater to the fans who are fortunate enough to see him several times per year. I agree with you though that it doesn’t seem logical to me that he has only 1 song from “One world one love”. I mean, why did he have 3 or 4 songs last year in Europe but then dropped them? I also understand about time restrictions and I know Michael wants to showcase his versatility and have something for everyone. I’m thinking at least 2 songs from the new album would be a nice compromise but I’m not his advisor now am I? :D Well sweetie, maybe you should tell him if you meet him, or maybe we should start a “suggestion box” thread? Lol So is your friend Andrea too shy to post or is she very busy? It would be nice to hear how special the concert was for her… Well have a fun time at the RAH with the girls Sharon, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
