HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.
Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!! Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January. There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here. I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well! After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012. Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.
Welcome everyone!!!!!

Have found out that Tom and Ashley are attending the Westworld, Childhelp's Drive, The Dream Gala being held in Scottsdale, AZ on Saturday, 14th January and Ashley has her outfit ready for the dress code is red, white and denim and Ashley has chosen white denims with a red top and white/cream furry sleeveless jacket and red boots.....well that was yesterday's decision it may have all changed today and by the time they leave tomorrow, who knows ???? LOL. Have asked Tom to consider popping over here and giving us a little review of concert ...hope he does but what a way for Ashley to celebrate her 21st birthday.....don't believe she will ever forget it !!!! :)

Aww, that's so sweet, I'm so happy for Ashley! Thanks for the report Sylvia. I have to admit I'm geographically-challenged so how far is it for Tom to drive? God bless him, I'm sure it'll be a night to remember. I'm sure Tom will post if he can. Well thanks again Sylvia, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Just to say that Tom got back onto me and said he will post a review either on the Sunday night when they get home or on Monday. Hope that we get to see pictures of Michael at the event when the dress code is red, white and denim.....I would love to know what Michael is going to wear for I know for sure I would have him in blue denims, white shirt and white jacket with red loafers and one of the most brilliant, absolutely brilliant red scarfs that has ever been made.....oh how I hope we get pictures !!!!! LOL. How far Tom has to drive I have no idea either Sylvie.
Sylvia. Your wee Scottish friend.

Some might still consider him the essence of daggy but Michael Bolton has sung with Pavarotti, had pop hits, dated two Desperate Housewives and scored a comedy hit with the Lonely Island.
The American singer started his career in a hard rock band but went on to sell millions of albums thanks to hits such as Said I Loved You...But I Lied, How Can We Be Lovers and How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.
At 58, Bolton continues to be serious about his singing but he's also not afraid to poke fun at himself occasionally. He became a YouTube sensation this year working with the Lonely Island comedy team on the hilarious song Jack Sparrow in which Bolton reveals his inner cinefile.
To date, the clip has had more than 60 million views.
"When we filmed the clip we were doing 17-hour days and it was full on but we were just laughing and laughing, " Bolton says about his roles as Jack Sparrow, Erin Brockovich, Scarface's Tony Montana and Forrest Gump. "They were so much fun to work with that it didn't feel like work."
In Jack Sparrow, the singer shows off the power and tone of a voice which has sold more than 53 million albums since the late 1980s.
His voice handles a wide range of material from pop and rock to classical but Bolton says his vocal muscles must be treated the way an athlete looks after their body.
While everyone else can hang out after a performance, he is off to bed for eight hours of voice rest. "You want to have your high notes crisp and I want my vocal cords to be 100 per cent," he says. "The best thing I can do for my voice is get sleep in between shows and interviews."
Bolton will perform with the WA Symphony Orchestra in April as part of a national tour, following on from 2010's pop shows. He says the extension to work with an orchestra changes the dimensions of the sound while retaining the spirit of what fans want to hear.
"People want to hear the greatest hits," Bolton says. "These songs were important to them and some of their greatest moments and defining times. My music is the soundtrack to their lives so we have to bring those."
It also allows the singer the perfect opportunity to flex his vocal muscles on a few more classical songs, an ability which seems to have escaped wider attention.
"I thought people knew I had gone there," he says. "Most people who come to see the shows know I do Nessun Dorma, which I always dedicate to Pavarotti. I've also sung with Carreras, Domingo and Russell Watson.
"I keep working on that side of my voice. You must be in great voice to sing that sort of stuff, which is one of the reasons why I keep it in my set. It keeps you on top of the game."
Featured in the shows will also be songs from his latest album Gems: The Duets Collection, which features covers with artists ranging from country band Rascal Flatts to Seal, Eva Cassidy and Chris Botti. He also sings with Aussies Delta Goodrem and young guitar slinger and singer Orianthi, whom Bolton hopes to tempt on to stage with him during the tour.
"I'm looking at getting a few Australian guests," he says. "Delta and Orianthi are both such great forces of energy; with a little luck I might be able to convince them."
Hey Gail, thanks for posting this sweetie: nothing new really but they didn't mention his hair, yay! :D The Australians are very fortunate and we can only hope that Michael will do more symphonic concerts so more of us can enjoy them. Well thanks again for sharing sweetie, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
