2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.

Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January.  There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here.  I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and  the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well!  After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012.  Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

Welcome everyone!!!!!

I remember those passes!!!LOL

Hey Alison,

What a Fun story, and our Michael making a joke out of it w/you makes it even better:)! He is a jokester, isn't he? My daughter & I have been fans since I heard him sing "How am I supposed to live without you", I got hooked instantly, then she did and the rest is history! We have only got to see him 3 times, but this last time we actually did get to meet him at his vehicle! It was in a word "Incredible":)! I will always remember that, he was sooo kind and listened to everything I said! And Meghan, too! Thanks again! have a Great Day!

Mary (Meg's mom)!

Alison, good to see you up here. Awesome y'all are going. Perhaps if I lived in MD, I'd do it but whew. Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Mary, it's not the amount of times one goes, it's the good times one has when going to any of his concerts. Boltonnut who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Awesome to those winning backstage passes. Love hearing everyone's stories & awesome MB'S coming to CT 9/22/12. I wish I could go. Boltonnut who loves Michael Bolton :)

Thanks for sharing Alison. You have been traveling to see MB as long as I have. My friends and I said we should have written a journal of our adventures too. Fun times and over 100 shows later I enjoyed every mile. So much fun going to the ballgames and charity events, appearances, golf events. I can feel your joy in sharing the backstage story. My friend won passes in 1998 and we had a blast. Good times. Thanks again for sharing with us.

P.S.--Just redid this post, I had a major typo in the year--1998 we had fan club backstage passes!! sorry, typing on the phone and I don't get along all the time!LOL

Robin in MD:-)

Yeah, we all should write journals. i should have started that from the beginning. Imagine all the Brailling & amount of paper I'd be using? :))))) boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :) Even those who haven't had backstage passes & have had opportunities to meeting Michael is awesome. Sylvie from Canada. I remember you saw Michael in Missisiippi.

Hi Robin R. and All,

I remember my first ticket was given to me by a man like family to my husband and I. He wrote for the Tulsa World Newspaper then and a few years later went on to Nashville to write books for some entertainers some of you may have read, his name is Tom Carter. I have one of the first books off the press of Ronnie Milsap's, thank you, Tom. Tom wrote for Ronnie Milsap, others include Reba McIntyre, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Brittany Spears, Lee Ann Rhymes, the Reverend Larry Jones. He lives in Nashville now and writes Childrens Christian books. I spoke with him a few months back about my then upcoming MB concert in Norman, OK, and thanked him once again for my first ticket, that was around 1992 or so for MB's concert in Tulsa. That concert is still etched in my brain today at the ORU Maybee Center. I was in the first 10 rows on the floor, on the aisle center, thanks to my friend Tom. NO ONE was sitting down the entire concert very often as I recall. The song "Soul Of My Soul" will be the most special to me always and a major tie to MB for the rest of my life. Someday I hope myself to meet MB finally and tell him in person, THANK YOU for recording this song written by Diane Warren that holds a very special place in my heart for my son, Brad.

Loved sharing this MB experience with all of you.

Thanks,

Kathy in Tulsa.:-))

Wow! Kathy from Tulsa. Neat that gentleman gave your first ticket. Awesome the folks he's written for. All of us have songs & memories from Michael or of Michael. That's what music is all about. Is memories whether they be happy, sad, serious or whatever. Thanks for sharing. Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves Michael Bolton & life. :)

Thanks, Robin R.,

It was a very special ticket, my first MB concert I will always remember, and yes, so kind of Tom to give me the ticket. My pleasure to share the story and memory.

Your concert is approaching, excitement building for another MB memory on the horizon for those going I will bet. Joyce in New Jersey, are you reading this? Mouse in your handbag, Robin. Where is the picture of that mouse, Joyce? Lol.......

Goodnight for now
