Aw! Joy! It does seem as if you had an awesome time & I'm glad. Wow! that you got a guitar pick. Cool speaking with the band members&I think you said you met Kelly as well. Oh! What a night. Early March of 2013 Oh! what a night. :))))))

Yes, this was just an amazing Bolton Adventure. Never expected it to be so awesome! But that's why I think it was so amazing, is I didn't have high expectations. But I was prepared, I did bring that 8X10 with me. I also remembered what you told me once about getting in line again at the signings.  We did, Diane and I and it was worth it.  We got everything we wanted signed-personally! And when we saw the band and Kelly walking around at the casino, we didn't get all shy and just let them walk by.  We went up to them, and they were all so nice and we got a picture with Kelly.  I have to get a copy of that, it wasn't my camera. Best time ever!

I am having issues with not being able to load my photos in the Gallery; not sure why!

Thanks for posting, Joy, so we could see both. I love the Kelly pin, she is so beautiful. I hope you do the necklace with the guitar pick, I know you will get alot of enjoyment out of it too.

Joy, I finally read your review. Ah! Man! wow! I felt like I was there. Loved it. Loved how you mentioned his band "Joy." Loved it. Like I've said before, I'm glad you got the guitar pick. I'm glad there was the CD/book signing&you went back a 2nd time. Wow! You're sure on a cloud---right there up on the moon. Thanks for your review. Awesome about the pictures. :)))))))))

Way to go Joy, and he knows you for sure now...LOL:)! I am sooooo happy for you.....mission definitely accomplished:)! I'll bet you all we're like a bunch of teeny-boppers that night! That's a Good thing though, we aren't ready for them rocking chairs yet:)! So let's see you got another book signed, a pic, that photo you have been carrying w/you for a long time! And alot of tid-bits of time w/Michael....Wow..Awesome..Fantastic review:)!

Loved it...don't bump in to each other up on your Cloud:)!

Have you seen him in concert yet? Not sure you understood about Eileen, but this time she did go with us. Last time her car was

unable to be driven and she couldn't come.

Hi, folks!  I want to start by saying that I had met Eileen and Lee for the first time in Chester and AC last year.  It was wonderful to be able to see them again!  This year I had the privilege of meeting Joy!  A fabulous group of ladies and friends!  We had a wonderful time together!  Joy - thank you for your terrific review of the Atlantic City concert!  I'm still on that cloud and re-living each and every moment!  I will share my little bit of excitement here.  This year I attended the Chester show with my hubby, but he wasn't up for a double-header concert weekend (after last year!) again so I took my friend from high school, Joanne.  I will add here that my husband and I made it a point to talk with the merchandise guy in Chester (as we have talked with him at every concert.)  It's been the same guy for the few years that I know.  I have gotten his name in the past, but don't recall it.  I'm sure someone on here does.  He's a very nice man.  This will be helpful later!  So... Joanne and I head to AC, are having dinner, and I recognize Eileen, Lee, and I just know it's Joy.  We went to their table, did all the introductions, chatted a bit and agreed to meet at the venue at concert time.  Joanne and I are sitting in the 7th row, aisle seat.  Before the show starts I notice two women in front of us are wearing pins, not of Michael, but of Kelly.  I ask where they got them.  One of the ladies pulls one from her bag and says "Here, do you want one?"  Of course, yes I do!  As it turns out they are part of Kelly's fan club.  With that a couple comes to chat with them and I know the woman has got to be Kelly's mother.  I ask her, and yes she is!  Her name is Penny.  Lovely woman.  We chat.  I told her how proud she must be.  Kelly is fabulous!  She shares with me that Michael has been so good to her!  We have a very nice conversation.  Kelly's parents are sitting directly across the aisle from Joanne and I.  Valerie Simpson (Ashford & Simpson) is seated in the same row, two seats from them.  Great spot for Joanne and I to be in!  Wonderful concert!  Michael sounds great, looks great!  Yes, the plan is after WAMLAW we are all meeting at the stage.  I wait for Eileen, Lee, and Joy to make their move.  What?  They're not moving.  I wait the song out.  Nothing.  No movement.  Next song, I say to Joanne "I'm going!"  Go I do!  I'm at the stage motioning to the others to get in the aisle with me.  We all do, and as Joy has mentioned some people weren't happy so Joy and Lee sit.  There also had been four other women that had followed me up.  (Crazy - but I had recognized them from the year before and knew they would take my lead!)  Well, security ended up telling them to sit, but never actually told Eileen and I.  So we stayed.  My plan was to continue the tradition that I had started in Chester last year, and present Michael with a pirate hat!  Michael is singing right in front of us (I have no idea what song!) and I am holding the hat out to him.  At first he doesn't take it, but then he does!  Gives me a very nice smile!  The band members all see the hat and smile as well.  (Eileen - you can add here too!)  Michael puts the hat on the piano.  Eileen and I must get back to our seats because we are the only ones standing in this entire theatre!  Yikes!  At the end of the show Michael announces that he will be signing autographs in the lobby!  Wonderful!  Oh, I'm not missing this!  The five of us meet up at the stage and take some photos.  Joy gets that guitar pick!  Yay!  I stroll over a bit to take a photo of the pirate hat on the piano and one of the crew members says to me, "Would you like this?"  He tells me that it's Michael's setlist for the show!  Would I like it?!  Oh, my!  I am thrilled out of my mind!  Yes, I would like it!  Thank you so much!  Now we must get to the lobby.  Yes, I must buy another CD because Michael is only signing what is purchased there (we are told).  Ah, my friend the merchandise man.  I show him the setlist that I was given and ask if he thinks Michael will sign it.  He says that he will take care of me!  We all wait in line together.  My turn!  Michael personalizes my CD, "To Diane  LOVE (yes LOVE!) MB".  I tell him that I was given his setlist and ask him to sign.  Oh, yes of course!  I remind him that I had given him the pirate hat.  He smiles!  We chat and say nice things to each other!  I ask him for a handshake.  He does!  Seems I must move on.  There are others in the room!  Joanne is next.  She is also happy with her personalized CD.  Well now, if Joy is getting back in line.  I am too!  He can sign my....  no, that won't work.  He can sign my ticket!  Yes, my ticket!  Joy and I wait together.  Her turn.  Yay, picture signed!  My turn.  My friendly merchandise man tells Michael that we have a repeat visit from Diane!  Michael looks up and smiles.  Ok!  I give him my ticket to sign.  He does!  We chat and say nice things to each other!  I ask him for a handshake.  This time I get a hand clasp with his left hand and my right.  Nice squeeze, perfect!  Ugh!  Again, I must move on.  Seems we are not alone.  After possibly just two or three more people after me, Michael is getting up from the table.  A few people were waiting around, he shakes some hands and heads to the ramp.  Well, I take the steps and meet him at the top of the ramp.  Extend my hand, and yes another handshake!  He disappears behind the door... until next time, Michael.  Until next time.

Fabulous, fabulous evening!  The five of us troublemakers (LOL!) hang out a bit in the casino.  We take some photos with Kelly and her mother.  The others get their pins from Kelly's mom.  I had actually already had mine from the fan club members earlier.  We talk a little.  Then we see Michael Lington with some of the band members.  I have talked with Michael at other shows.  He's very nice!  I shook his hand and told him great show!  It's now atleast 12:30 a.m., time to call it a night.  Well almost, who could really sleep after all that!  Not me!  We all meet for breakfast and enjoyed our conversation.  Until next time, ladies.  Until next time.

On a slightly different subject, my friendly merchandise man also doesn't understand why he's not selling t-shirts at these concerts!  All he has to sell on the table is Michael's new CD, Gems, and the book.  At AC he also had the old DVD from Royal Albert Hall.  He told me that he has asked for new artwork for a t-shirt and hasn't been given anything.  I said why wouldn't they just use the cover photo from the new CD or from the book even.  He agrees!  He told me that Michael stopped at the table recently and said "what, no t-shirts?".  When I go to a concert I want to buy a t-shirt. I want to remember my attendance at every concert with a t-shirt.  "They" are losing the opportunity for more sales here and I don't understand why they don't see it.  So Michael's people... please make a note that we want t-shirts!  Thank you very much!

Thanks all!  It was an unbelievable, fantastic evening!  I am thrilled with the opportunity to attend another MB concert, and to be able to do it with these four lovely women!  The three handshakes and three autographs are just icing on the cake!  Thanks, Michael!

Diane, Loved your review. You go girl getting those hand shakes, conversations&autographs. Love it how all 5 of you were together throughout the weekend. Wow! Robin from MD is right. Almost like the gala days meeting up with BB'S. I'm happy for all of you. You go girls. :)))))))
