As I've already said I am a new fan of Michael, I discovered him only yesterday and now I am listening to his songs and I do love all of them! My the most favorite song is from O'Clone 'All For Love'. It's so touching! Moreover, I didn't expect that he's got Russian roots, lol. His real name is in Russian, I was shocked, yep, I was. I do love such ballads about love as his.

Mary, what recent video d'you mean? I've seen only his duet with Lonely Island band.
Speaking about his new CD I've not heard about it either. I need to read all the forum to learn more about his songs, CDs, etc. :)

WELCOME to the forum and I am so glad you have discovered Michael and that you like him - you have got a lot of catching up to do so why don't you go into our Video section and listen to some of Michael's songs there and, of course, on YouTube too !! You couldn't have chosen a more beautiful song then "All For Love" to have become acquainted with Michael but there are many, many more beautiful songs for you to listen too and a lot that are far, far more well known than that one - hope you enjoy finding out everything about him for you have certainly come to the right place to do that !! :)
You say about being surprised about Michael's surname - where exactly did you see his surname Bolotin - have you been looking back through really "old" stuff ???? lol. It was Michael's paternal grandfather who came from Russia - he came from Minsk which, I am sure you will know, is part of Belarus !! :)
As the other girls have said I hope you enjoy yourself on the forum and feel free to look round everything and to also come in on our discussions and to contribute wherever and whenever you want !! :)

Speaking about his surname, I read about it in Wikipedia last night.
As for Minsk, it was a part of USSR in past, now it's the capital of another country (as you've already mentioned).

Hello Dreamy, feels funny addressing you as this. Do you feel safe enough to tell us your real name? I understand if you dont but rest assured, you are 100% safe on here. We are all here for one thing and one thing only, our love of Michael.
Anyway, I digress, a huge welcome to the forum. You have reached the most wonderful website known to anyone, the Michael Bolton cyber family site.
Seriously, everyone on here is lovely. Some of us are relatively new fans and some of us, myself included have been fans for over 20 years. No guesses how old we are though, thats unfair!! Ha Ha!!
So, you found Michael through the Lonely Island video did you? How funny is that video? We are all really enjoying the new found attention that Michael is recieving right now. For those of us who have almost grown up with Michael, we've seen him grow from a garage artist aged 16 to a long haired rocker with his band Blackjack, then onto his long haired rocker days as a solo artist and blossom into the short haired high style crooner he is today. Have you discovered Michasels brother Orrin yet? He is an amazing artist in his own right and well worth a listen to his stuff too.

We all knew he had an amazing sense of humour, but the Lonely Island video has really proved it to the world and has introduced new fans like yourself and this is wonderful.

Thank you so much for warm welcome! My real name is Maria. And I am from distant Russia.
You're right, I discovered Michael through the duet with Lonely Island, it's a funny video, lol. My mom also liked this video and song. I found this video by chance on Facebook and I am glad that I found it 'coz I'd not know who Michael is. Moreover, I discovered that he recored a song for O'Clone which was my favorite series on TV in past. That song 'All for Love' is amazingly beautiful.
Speaking about Michael's brother, I don't know him, but I'll try to learn about him.
Thanks for the links you've given to me, I'll try to visit this forum more often. I've final exams now that's why I don't have much time for Internet. Thank you again!
