Yeah for sure Robin being an Arian we go down hard but OMG when we come back up, which doesn't take too long, we're on top again and raring to go !!! :)

Hope some of the new tour dates and places suit you Robin in California !!! :)    I have only got to this point so you are probably way ahead and have answered somewhere further down but, if not, hope some suit you and Kathy and Tom and Ashley too of course and everybody else in California !! :)

Yeah and where is that Kathy - floating on cloud Bolton land again or what it could be is she got some really good photos and she is waiting till they are well and truly sorted out and the review and photos will come together !!! :)

Yeah baby girl, worth the wait! lol Girl, you're so fun to read: you start a circus when you report! :D It's funny how we got less reviews this leg of the tour, but with memories we share, we've all managed to make this thread  a lot of fun, thank you Kathy, God bless. Did you see lil Ashley?  Did he hold your hand again? Just a few questions!  I know you're up there on that Cloud Floating,

aren't you? Hopefully you'll read this before I get home from work tonite, and give Us all a real nice story... I could use a

good MB story!

Hope Kathy didn't do so much running up and down those aisles and jumping over seats and leaping onto the stage that she put her back out and that is why now she can't move her fingers to type !! lol.

                                                     Chumash Casino ---  April 28 2011

 

                                  Oh my.....have a seat and get comfy. I think I might get lost in my in my own review!! lol  Enjoy…:)

                                                              ANOTHER GREAT CONCERT!!!!!

                              Thankfully I had only the concert on my mind this time around!!! Our first task upon arrival was to see if we could find any buses and then maybe find you know who ;) We took a quick cruise around the venue and once again no buses. Hmmmm. We did find the equipment truck....lol We then went to will call and picked up our lousy seat tickets :/ We asked if there were any closer seats and of course there wasn't. Oh well. We headed to the hotel to check in and when we pulled into the parking lot....voila.....THE bus. lol Things are looking up :) After we checked in we decided to go back to the casino to grab a fast dinner. The casino is only 10 minutes away. As we are walking through the casino...who should we see again....but Miss Ashley and dad Tom!!!! We stop and chat and invite them to join us for dinner. We had a delightful conversation over dinner and shared emails and phone numbers in hopes of meeting up at future concerts :) We parted ways so Bob and I could go freshen up before the concert and I said I would come by and say hi before the show.

                               In the process of getting ready, Tom calls me and offers to trade seats with me!!! How great is that??!!! Mind you…his phone won't work in the casino so he calls me on a pay phone. I don't recognize the number and then I decide…oh what the heck…I will answer the phone…lol  Smart move!!! He said he would give me his ticket and I would sit with Ashley and then he would sit with Bob. I guess my row P seats....which Tom teasingly said P stood for pathetic...felt bad for me...LOL I was thrilled and thanked him profusely!!! Things are really looking up now!!!! WOW!!! THANK YOU TOM!!!!

                               Show time!!!! I take my front row seat right beside Ashley after Tom gets her all settled in. Ashley and I spend anxious moments laughing and joking before Michael's exquisite appearance!! Oh the anticipation!!! Ashley is sooooo excited and beside herself and says she is sooooo nervous and I am feeding off her delightful energy.....like I need any help!!! lol The lights go down, the music starts and Ashley lets out a SCREAM greeting Michael who is descending from the top of the stairs mid stage. The concert is on!!!!! Once again I don't recall the exact song set list but definitely no Hallelujah nor Murder My Heart :(  Lets keep hoping!!! The crowd seems to really be enjoying Michael as much as Ashley and I are as we sing along and chair dance! Ashley looks at me often while singing along to make sure I know all the words!!! Too cute.  We are having a blast!!!! Michael sees Ashley and waves to her. Oooooh....there goes another infamous Ashley scream!!!! Loving it. We hear...TLT, SILYBIL, Georgia, That's Life, Summertime, Nessun Dorma, HITL, and the blue guitar comes out for SHC!!! YAY!!! The music starts for WAMLAW.....and where do you think Michael is standing in the audience???!!!!! You got it.....exactly at the "pathetic" row P seat 11....my old seat!!!!! Tom is loving it!!!! I stand and turn just in time to see Michael reach out to Tom and they SHAKE hands!!!! WOW!!! I am so happy that my "pathetic" seat turned out well for Tom. Who woulda thunk??? lol Michael starts down the aisle toward us and of course Michael bends down to kiss Ashley on the cheek and as he turns from her.....she is able to GIVE Michael a KISS on his cheek!!!! Oh my!!!! What a delight to see!!! Ashley can't believe what she just did. Her big blue eyes are the size of saucers now!!! I tell Michael...oh wait... Ashley has some flowers for you! I actually bought the flowers as part of my plan to get to the stage from my "pathetic" seats in preparation for the security guard tango. I added Ashley's name to my card and helped her give the flowers to Michael :) Up the stage stairs Michael went and Ashley was FLOATING!!!! Stage time!! Now....how many times have I been removed by security from the stage because no one else joins me and the few other brave souls with me??? Too many times I say...well NOT this time. I give Tom the signal to come on down and help with Ashley so I can get us a spot at the stage and no sooner do I turn around and I am SWAMPED!!!! Wow....I CAN'T get us to the stage!!!!!! A lady in front of Ashley refuses to move over :/ Tom can't believe it because he has said that people have always moved over to let Ashley lean against the stage for support. SHAME on you who ever you are! She was lucky my hands were supporting Ashley or I just might have thumped her!!! :/ Argh!!! We decide to enjoy Rock Me Baby anyway!!! I bump into the twins...Constance and Carol who are also in the second row at the stage. Ohhhh….and then the final moment has arrived......the lights come back on and it is good night for this concert. But we shall see you again Michael :) 

                                                   Tom was hoping to get Ashley backstage. Apparently there was quite a fiasco at Agua Caliente Casino with a NEVER ending line of people that were going backstage. That is really unfair to Michael after all his energy spent giving a great concert. I know when I ran into Tom at that Agua Calinte he said it was a zoo backstage!!! So apparently Michael decided to see NO ONE backstage at Chumash………..except……..drum roll please………ASHLEY…… and Tom offered HIS backstage pass to ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!………..I couldn't believe what Tom just said and Bob was speechless!!!! All Tom said was ….he would like the pass back and would I please get a tshirt signed by Michael and be sure to say hi for him???!!! Well that was a no brainer!!!!!!! lol  Maybe Michael had a flight to catch and have to leave quicker this time…who knows…..but it was only Ashley and I backstage :) While we were waiting the following band members passed by and stopped to say hello to Ashley: Michael Lington, Cameron, Brian, and a couple more whose names escape me at this moment…dang! We are escorted in to see Michael and……OOOOHHHHH MMMYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! He is so sweet and such a gentleman with Ashley :) I say hi and let them visit. Michael compliments Ashley's fancy boots and she tells Michael she likes his "new" shoes!! They chat about the concert some more and how much she enjoyed it! I tell Michael I have a few jobs to do here and then ask him if he would please sign a tshirt for Tom and he said sure after some discussion about the wording…lol I was only the messenger ;) Then we chatted a bit about the concerts, the different venues and my stage fiascos!! Too funny :) I gave him some personal hellos from some "strangers" I know…;) LOL I then asked him to please sign the photo of he and I taken at College of the Canyons Charity meet and greet before the concert there. He commented on the photo and we had a couple more laughs. He is so dang SWEET!!!!! I also chatted with Steve a bit….who is absolutely wonderful….I brought him an LAFD shirt thanking him for his kindness toward Bob and I. What a CLASS ACT with Michael and Steve!!!!!!  We wrapped up our visit and I ask when will we be hearing GEMS on tour?  He blew out a breath and said he needs to finish this tour first :) He was just a bit tired and I have NO CLUE how he keeps this pace!!!!!! 

                                                  God bless you Michael for your kindness and time spent with Ashley!!! All us fans appreciate your generosity you show her AND us when you have the time!!!! We love you……and until we see you at our next concert,,,,,travel safe, stay healthy and keep rocking!!!!!! We love YOU and your music……your #1 west coast fans…… …………………………

I cried a bucket yesterday at that Wedding and now today I have your review and have a guess what, I am crying again - oh Kathy what a beautiful review but what a beautiful set of circumstances to lead to it - I am so, so glad for you Kathy, so glad !! :)

OH WOW Kathy, what a great time you had all way around. I am so glad MB saw Ashly and how generous of Tom to give you his pass to go with her.. Oh my, I would love to see MB with her.. I know he adores Ashley and Tom as much as they do him..Such a shame if it was too many people at the prior show for Ashley to visit him but...not this time.. Tom is one nice man I can tell from what everyone says and how he writes to all of us. I do hope to meet them myself one of these days....Bolton fans are the best..except when they won't let a person with disabilities stand AT the stage when she was there in a front row seat to begin with. THAT would have really ticked me off too...How nasty to treat her that way...UGH!!!!!!!

 

You were blessed more ways than one, Ashely is a very lovely young lady and how much fun you had with her...I hope the time backstage was everything Ashley hoped for and you too girl..Wow...That's so nice you had the flowers for her to give to Michael..

 

LOVE READING YOUR REVIEW....Did Bob get any pics from his seat or did you up front with Ashley???
