Working on New CD - 2011

Well as you have seen posted in other threads, Michael is recording and working on his next CD. I found this yesterday and thought you would enjoy. Any findings or info you find on the new CD...please post it here..thanks!

You know the Rascal Flatts boys have been collaborating with Justin Beiber.

Now it seems the mega-country group is going with, uh, the opposite demographic.

Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts put up a picture of his group with Michael Bolton.

Jay tweets that they’re all writing a new song for Michael’s new album.

Won’t Justin be jealous?

I will admit when I first heard the title of the new CD - "Gems" - it did nothing and felt as though it was lacking a "punch" but, late last night, I thought and hope that Michael is possibly dedicating this album to Amelia Rose - his own little "gem" - and thereby to all the children on this earth who are someones "little gems".....I know I am a romantic and a dreamer but I believe that would be rather beautiful and, who knows, possibly there is a particular song dedicated to her !! I am coming round to liking it !! :) Tough if I don't - eh !!! :)

Hey Gail, thanks for all the updates and all the added contributers names on the new album. I wonder what kind of song he’ll be doing with a classical violinist: a soft melancholy piece, a romantic love song or a rock mash up…Plus I wonder if Agnes Monica will be singing her part of the duet in Indonesian. I was doing a little research on her and found this gorgeous soul duet:

Thanks for putting in that link - really beautiful !! I have listened to a few of her songs over on YouTube since her name was announced as I had never heard of, nor heard, her before and I think she is a rather lovely singer and can well imagine her voice and Michael's blending beautifully - going to be a good album - me thinks !!! :)
