It was just brought to my attention that some of my fans in attendance at the Dublin show were told that, at my request, they could not take photos or video during my performance on Thursday. This news was extremely upsetting to me and I want to clarify that I always allow pics by the fans and there will never be a time when I restrict them as I know how much it adds to the experience of enjoying the evening. There are performances where venue management will ask audience members not to take pics, but if anyone at those venues ever represents that I personally (or anyone on my behalf) has not allowed the photography that is a blatant untruth. Even in venues where I know this is the policy, when I see a fan taking a shot using their phone or a camera I will smile and pose, as again, I think it adds to their enjoyment of the experience.

The Dublin show was one of my favorites of the last 90 I've done. I loved the theater and the audience, which was fantastic and sang to me all night. My position has and will always be that the fans have paid and waited to come see me and if they want to take pics with cameras or their phones that's absolutely fine with me. I encourage them to do so and post their faves, here or anywhere else that they like. This has always been the case and will not change!!

Michael - I think it is so generous of you to allow photography by your fans at your concerts. That explains all the cameras at the Star Theatre in Merrillville, IN. I want to thank you for coming to Northwest Indiana during this tour. This was my first Bolton concert and the best concert I've ever been to. I didn't want it to end.

I also want to thank you for the gift of your music. Your songs touch my heart and your gentle voice comforts me - especially at the end of a rough day. I don't have just one favorite song. I love them all. Bless you - you are a beautiful person inside and out. - Melanie

Michael, thank you very much for let us know. Last summer in Garda Lake I was told 'no photos' and it was a bit discouraging (especially because I didn't use flash!) Although I was a 'naughty girl' and I took photos later... ha,ha,ha!!!
Love;)

September 16 Lancaster California we were told very adamantly absolutely no pictures or videos were allowed. I also tried to leave a little fan gift by stage but was roughly escorted by arm back to my seat. This after having seen another fan hand Mr. Bolton a white tissue wrapped bottle shaped gift to him while he was on stage. Having seen videos on his web site of other fans gifting him while he was on stage i had assumed it was an acceptable policy. August 15, Morongo i was told by security to send it to his manager but i was not given a business card or a handwritten address. Still both evenings were well worth any little inconvienences, or "senior moments". Both evenings are memories i will treasure for all my life. On a different note i wonder if Mr. Bolton visited Bolton England While his concert tour took him close to Bolton via Blackpool and Liverpool? My granddaughter found Russian ruble 2 worth 6 cents American on her nightstand. Be safe Mr. Bolton and send new baby Whittle kiss on cheek for me. Later Anam Cara as the Irish say. Thumb
