Meeting Amelia Rose
On my last trip home I had the immense pleasure of meeting my amazing granddaughter, Amelia Rose (Millie). She is as sweet as she is beautiful, just like her mother.

What a beautifull picture Michael and what a lovely name for a little girl. I was at your concert last night in dublin ireland, it was absolutely brilliant, your fans went crazy!!!! It was a very special moment for me when you held my hand for a few short seconds when you were singing WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN. I havent stopped smiling since.Have allways loved your music Michael. Congratulations Michael! I don't have grandchildren yet but I'm sure that you are happy to meet her. I just saw your concert last October 8, 2010 at the Santa Ana Star Casino in Bernalillo, New Mexico. It was a dream come true. My brother who works in Saudi Arabia as an engineer brought a betamax tape home in the Philippines in 1986. I played it over and over again until technology shifted to something else and our betamax player was messed up. That was the first time I saw you. I told myself that I am going to see him in person. When I arrived in the US, I searched at startickets website to see where you are until you came nearer about 125 miles from where I work. Thank you for the wonderful music. You'll never know how your music impacts other people's lives. Thank you for sharing your talent to us as well as your family. God Bless You and your family! I really hope to watch your concert again. I hope that you will come much nearer to us like in Route66 Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Thank you again.

What a sweet picture of you and apparently your mother and daughter with your new grandbaby. She looks very sweet and pretty. I am sure you are thrilled to be a grandfather but you are still one good looking grandpa. I still don't know anyone else whose music is so emotional, passionate and beautiful with so much feeling as your music is. God bless you all and little Amelia Rose. What a pretty name.

"If I Could" ..... it all starts here doesn't it? You're granddaughter is BEAUTIFUL ... and all of that hair! My first granddaughter just turned 1 years old on October 13th and I just adore her. I was officially named "Grammy" because I have always loved music.
To be honest, the first time I heard the song "If I Could" was on a Barbra Streisand CD and it so touched my heart because you wish you could "shield their innocence from time" and protect them from any pain and to cry their tears and you certainly would.....if you could. The picture of you with your granddaughter just looks as though you are simply enjoying the beautiful innocence of this new baby girl. My children lost their father in 1991 when they were 7 and 11 years old and he was such a wonderful man and I wish with all of my heart that I could have spared them that pain and even as they've grown into adults now, I still feel so protective and there isn't anything that I wouldn't do for them. Congratulations Michael, I hope you enjoy being a "Grandpa" .
