Robin, Carmel is considered central CA coast. It is above San Luis Obispo and just south of Santa Cruz. It is near Monterey and it is right on the coastline. Very pretty up there. California Girl Shirley

Now that is quite a picture! Was this taken as you were landing or just taking off? At the moment the weather can't make it's mind up. It looks as though it might be a bit of thundery storm tonight. I love thunder storms, especially the ones back in the states. I am so looking forward to going home, no offense to England, but I think I've lived here long enough, say over 25 years. Whenever I visit my family in the states I never want to leave, but we are tied to this house at the moment, fingers crossed we sell it quick next year. Well keep us updated with some photos, wherever you may be, don't forget to have a game of golf; hope your daughter is well with her pregnancy, not long to go, but she probably feels like it's forever.

Hi Michael,
Looks like from the picture you are leaving the smog. Hope you enjoy the dessert. Less smog there. As for this big beautiful Country you are looking forward to returning to, what ever Country you are refering to, I can only say that, I wish I was there with you too.. Things are not good here for me, and a huge change is about to take place, once again for me. Wish me luck pal.
