Hi Tom, I recently read your post on the “2010 concert tour review” thread about “When I’m back on my feet again” and i’m with you about Michael singing it in concert again. This morning, I was listening to a CD and it reminded me of my second favorite version of it: my very favorite being the live version on the VHS tape “This is Michael Bolton”. So, here’s the link to the page you can find it: http://www.michaelboltonphotos.com/soundfiles.shtml
You scroll down and find the version that says:”with piano accompaniment”. You can even download it from there. It’s really beautiful and I hope you love it as much as I do. Take care Tom and let me know what you think once you hear it. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
The home we found for my brother is run by YAI. There are 10 of them that live there both male and female. They have a nice staff of workers and the lady in charge is also nice. He also goes to a program during school hours that is run by Heartshare. Does Ashley go to a program? Gotta go, will write again...Helena
Hi Tom, I know how difficult yout life is with your daughter. I have a brother who is 40 years old. He became brain damage when he was born. He was strangled by the umbelical cord and lost oxygen to the brain. He does not see in one eye, has epilepsy and is sweet as a young child. 2 years ago my dad died and last year my mother and I had to place my brother into a home. It was the hardest thing in my life. But the home is 20 minutes from my house and we spend time with him on the weekend, so that is a plus. We all have problems and make the best of it. I have added you as a friend and hope you accept. Take care, Helena
hi mr Hayes my name is amber i just wanted to nsay that i have been reading your posts ashley must be sooo strong to cope with all of her problems i am phiysicly disabled and that can be hard on me sometimes i am verry inspired by ashley next time i am having a bad day ill think of the two of you

hey tom and ashley: wow, already a response. when i was opening for him in New Haven, i know i said this before, but he helped me so much. as to the songs on line, well i don't know how to do that -- could you walk me through it. peace and love, lisa p.s have to go out and practice with some people, should be back later or talk to you tomorrow. thanks a lot!!!!!
Hi Tom and thanks for your response. Aww, you’re very sweet yourself sir! I had read your story on the first comment you posted on Michael’s blog and I can’t imagine what yours and Ashley’s lives have been like since the bombing… It sounds like you’re doing your very best to make her life as normal as possible and Ashley is very fortunate to have such a caring dad! Oh I know Michael’s compassion is exemplary and Gail Atkinson is a saint: I love her to bits. She’s always gone the extra mile for my friend Robin and I because we’re blind. So obviously, your pictures would be lost on Robin and me, but it’s too bad someone can’t take pictures of you guys with Michael during concerts… I’m really glad for Ashley that she’s found somebody as special as Michael as a hero… Oh, it’s okay to cry Tom, especially when they’re happy tears! Well, keep up the good work Tom and I’m sending you a big virtual hug, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi Tom, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your concert experience after DWTS with us! Aww, I'll bet Ashley is still on cloud 9, that was so very sweet of Michael! Take care and God bless! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
HI Tom and Ashley, Just read your post on the main page to MB and I LOVE YOUR post. I'm thrilled for Ashley and you both!! Michael is a WINNER in my eyes, especially when I read about stories like this.. MB adores his fans, and he isn't afraid to show that.. AWWWW
Tell Ashley I am very very happy for her!!!!!
Robin :)
Tom, please check your inbox on this site. I sent you a message a while ago and I haven't heard from you. When are the two concerts you are attending in CA? Gail
Hey Tom. How's it going? I'm still recovering from hand surgery done almost 4 months ago but it's all good. When did you&Ashlie meet Michael?
Amen brother about Michael being an awesome&extremely kind human being. He doesn't act all weird becone one's handicapped, blind or disabled. You'd be surprised (as I'm sure you're not) how so-called "Normal"&I say that lightly people act towards us. Their problem; not mine. I can't change the blindness, only they can, if they choose to, their attitude. God bless.
Tom thanks for your comment. Mom is doing much better and hopefully will continue but she is having problems with her memory so she needs lots of help. Let me hear all about the two concerts in September! Gail
I can imagine she had numerous surgeries. I have a mentally retarted 68-year-old brother. he's like 7 to 10 year old. He has severe epilepsy. How much does she weigh? I'm 5 feet 1. I'm 112.
You didn't comment on me in all I said. I guess about me isn't worth commenting on about my blindness&all but that's ok. I'm used to being trivilized.
Of course you're an awesome dad. Most people would not take care of a child such as Ashley. They'd pitch them out in to the street so to speak.
I'm sorry she's depressed. Tell her not to be. We all have issues. She has emotions&feelings. Who's a psychiatrist to talk about acting what age. I remember once this teacher said,"Act like you're 21." I said, "With all due respect, what's the difference of 21 than 20 or 22?"
Thanks for her email address.

You're from Oregon. How many times of y'all met Michael? When was the first time you saw him in concert?
Hi again Tom, I’ve just read your comment on Robin Rehder’s page and felt the need to write. I can only imagine how you go through life every day, trying to make a memorable life for your daughter and I commend you for it. I’m a mom too. It’s wonderful that Ashley is still able to learn, even at a slower pace! I’m really happy for her that Michael was so nice to her and she must have felt really special… Well, best of luck to you and Ashley and enjoy your next concerts! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Hi Tom, since this is the first time I read your post, I’ll welcome you to the forum! I sense that your relationship with your daughter is very special and she’s deserving of a lot of attention. I just wanted to say that I’m sorry if you have reason to cry, but I’m glad for you if “When I’m back on my feet again” helps you or comforts you. It’s my favorite song of all-time but I’ve been extremely blessed that it’s never had to help me through any life-shattering event. Let’s hope Michael does sing it again! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

My blindness is more a paint in the *** but at least I'm able to be as independent as I can be. It's all good, really. It's all I've known.
I wish you both well.
