Concert in Mainz/Germany cancelled - What have I done????

Hi there,

I must share my frustration!

It is the second time, that I was incredibly looking forward to a concert - Düsseldorf a couple of years ago and now Mainz - and now must face reality: no concert for me ahead!
Why, what have I done? Is it personally? Hm, that's not possible....Well, I know I should not dramatize it, but ...oooh :-((((.

Aww Astrid, I really, really feel for you.

You must be so dissappointed. I would be in tears if this happenned to me. Well, it did once actually many years ago and it was the first time that I'd got 2nd row seats too!

I cant imagine why the concert has been cancelled this time round.

Perhaps Gail will know? I'm sure she will answer when she can, but she is otherwise engaged at the present time.

Yes, I am disappointed. I'm running through tough times and really would have loved to enjoy some happy hours. Yet I guess (hope), there is a serious reason for the cancelling.

Hi astrid,
Sorry about that I know it must be hard for we all love Michael's Music so much
He cancelled a concert here about 14 years ago (in Australia) and he has just now finished touring here but it was in fact 16years and 2 months since some of us had seen Michael although it was my first concert
There was never a reason given apparently but I will always believe he wouldn't cancel a show unless he has too.
You never know he could just have to reschedule fingers crossed for you

thanks for your kind comment. I just read your exciting review which brought my smile back and made me feel so much better. It is so wonderful sharing these emotions. I'm very greateful living in these times, when it is so easy to communicate to each other and feel the love all over the world.
I'm convinced that whatever happens there is a good reason for, even if I'm not able to see it now. So I will wait for my new chance.

I am so sorry to hear this Astrid. Things happen that are out of Michael's control sometimes. I'm sure if it were up to him he'd have the show. I feel bad for you and the other poster that also started a thread about this show being cancelled.

He is coming to other parts of Germany this tour isn't he? Any chance you can make it to one of those on the schedule? Just a thought.

I feel your disappointment..

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS AND KNOW HOW YOU FEEL I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME TWICE THE FIRST TIME WAS ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO AND THE SECOND JUST ONE MONTH AGO THE LAST TIME I SAW MICHAEL IN CONCERT WAS FOUR YEARS AGO WAS HOPING TO SEE HIM THIS YEAR BUT THE CONCERT WAS CANCELLED DO NOT KNOW WHEN I WILL SEE HIM HOPEFULLY SOON

I wish I could answer your along-feeling comments seperately, but unfortunately my reply to Robin has always been posted below Gloria's - maybe I should study operating instructions :).

My sister and I decided to go to the venue in Düsseldorf in December and surprise our mother with a further ticket, because of her birthday in November. She has never been in a concert like this before and we are eager to find out if she likes it. Last week she asked me to get her a new CD of Michael's "Till the end of forever", because she played the current one so often, that it is no longer to be played... :))

So I will -hopefully- see Michael in December, but ... I hoped to hear him sooner and ... "on my own" ...

Now that there is a new horizon I feel much better (not as good as I would have felt ... :-), sorry, still complaining :-).

I'm so sorry to read that we share this experience. I hope that you have another chance this year too, because this opportunity was really helpful for me to cope with my disappointment.
Like you I'm convinced, that there is no intention from anyone to disappoint Michaels fans, it is just that sh... happens :).
