Thanks a million for you review Joe - loved it especially the end !!! LOL. Can I just say though that I believe, if I am totally wrong someone come in and tell me, but Gems is Michael's 21st album and I think the way everyone is talking about it - I have still to get my copy - he has earned the "key of the door" with it !! Please too do not say it cannot be surpassed because we possibly have a Christmas album coming out later on in the year - and who knows what little gems that will contain !!!! lol.

Thanks Joe for a fanastic review of "Gems"

I haven't recieved my copy yet but hopefully soon and I can't wait to hear "Fields of Gold" the little bit I have heard bought tears to my eyes and I am so looking forward to hearing all the songs on this CD

I think Michael deserves a hit off this CD I have 2 which I think will do well "Love is everything" with Rascal Flatts and Eva Cassidy's Duet "Fields of Gold"

but I haven't heard the whole CD yet but soon

Hi Joe, OMG, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful review! I have to support Sylvia’s statement here that this has been reported as being Michael’s 21^st album. I think that whatever anyone’s opinion on “Jack Sparrow” is, it’s definitely been the biggest blessing in Michael’s career in a good while. I’ve read somewhere that it’s been his equivalent of “Pulp fiction” for John Travolta and I agree that it’s true, from the point of view of one not following Michael’s career. Ooh, I liked your line “a few riffs that would make Santana weep”! Orianthi is amazing, isn’t she? Thank you so much for the shot in the arm about “Pride”!! Joe, you really sound like a true fan of Michael’s and it was a joy to read your review, thank you again so much for sharing it! Although I haven't heard the Cd, only the samples and some short videos,

I agree with your great reniew, My favorities until now are Love is everything, Sajna

and Steel Bars.

WOW!!! Joe!!! Not only did I read and digest your review, I whooped squeels of delight at it!!!! 'Zipadeedooodah!!!'

Great, fantastic review Joe!! Well done for a really positive viewpoint on what is going to be a huge sellout for Michael!! Mark my words, history is in the making!!!

I am in no doubt that this album is going to catapualt Michael back into the public eye where he belongs and will undoubtedly win him another Grammy award!! (if it doesnt, I will stand in the middle of my town and sing the album in its entiretly to any passers by!! I am that convinced!!

I cannot comment on any of the songs on the album (I do know some of them from previous artists versions) but I have been really strict with myself and havent listened to any of the clips or snippets that have been posted here and on the web. I am determined to wait and savour the entire album just as soon as I rip the package out of my postmans hands when its delivered. It's been hard, but I've done it!!!!

Jack Sparrow, love it or hate it, it has certainly achieved something for Michael that no crystal ball could ever have forseen. With over 25.5 million VIEWS and 207,767 LIKES it is close to becoming a global phenominum!! Personally, I LOVE IT!"!!!

Incidentally, Michael told me that he has started to record a Blues album. He certainly has been playing a lot more 'blues' style' songs at his concerts of late. One that is a regular in his stage repertoir is Rock me baby' but last year he also added 'Sweet Home Chicago' much to the delight of his audience!! Perhaps this is something you can look out for in the future? I know he told me that he's already recorded a studio version of Rock me baby, so hopefully, this album is in the wings now awaiting finalisation or pressing. I live in the hope anyway.

Still in the meantime, we will have the much awaited for Christmas album that was due for release last year, but unfortunately due to commitments, it didnt make it to the shelves on time.

For now though, I amongst all of the UK and Non USA fans, await with baited breath (I'm verging on mass hysteria mysel!!) for Gems to be shipped overseas to us, happy in the knowledge that it has alrerady recieved 'RAVE' reviews from music reporters such as yourself and commendations for all those fans who have heard it!!
