I'll say welcome to you to Silvia PS and I agree with you wholeheartedly in regard to Michael's campaign of zero tolerance towards violence against women and his belief that men really do need educated and it is great that he keeps that campaign in mind even when he is touring and can speak so freely about it and can speak about it on an occasion when the word may just get through to some - well done Michael !! :)

Hi girls,thank you so much for your warm welcome.I always read your comments but i´m too ashamed of writting because my english is not that good.I learned a bit while I was living in Canada from 87 till 91.I´m a Michael´s fan since that time and was very lucky to attend his concert in Lisbon on July 10th.It was one of the best days of my life,a dream come true,and I got the autographed CD "Gems" that I can´t stop listening over and over again.When I feel down with problems,Michael´s voice is a blessing and it always makes me feel better.All I dream now is a picture with him! I think all Silvia´s (no matter how you write it) have so much good taste that we all are his fans LOL.Take care and thank you for being all so nice :) Silvia PS

Hi again Silvia PS, oh my goodness, you don’t need to be ashamed sweetie, your English is fine. Besides, you have something in common with our Michael: he’s still working on his English too! Lol We have people from all over the world and manage somehow to be understood. Wow, that’s so cool you lived in Canada! May I ask where exactly? I’m from the province of Quebec. So was this your first Michael concert? I’m glad to hear it was all you wanted it to be. Silvia, as Robin said: as long as there is life, there is hope. Stick around and you’ll learn a thing or 2 about where to look for Michael when he comes  to Portugal again. :D So do you have any favorites from “Gems” and do they play Michael on the radio much in Lisbon? Just to make sure we don't get confused we all write which Sylvia we are talking to by using other letters or their hometown etc. So now you will be forever be Silvia PS :)  Lets count the many ways we can spell Sylvia???? lol  Don't be concerned about your writing at all!!!! Your posts are not a test here what so ever so please feel free to write as you like. We have regular posters from all over the world with lots of different languages. We all manage to figure out what they mean in their posts and we will do the same with your comments. Join us often and laugh and have fun discussing ALL things Michael and then some!!!! lol

I second everything Kathy has said Silvia PS and under no circumstances should you feel shy about coming on here and expressing your opinions about anything Michael because you feel your English isn't up to a certain standard - hey Silvia this is isn't an English class and neither do these pages belong to only those whose mother tongue is English for these pages belong to Michael Bolton fans and they are worldwide !!  

Also too on the question of all the "Sylvia's" and what they should be called I am pleased to say mine is perfectly simple for you just stick with the initial "S" and put something relevant such as "Silly", "Stupid", "Senseless" - words with similar meanings and everyone will know you mean me - no problems with my mine whatsoever !!!! LOL.   Seriously folks maybe mine should be "Sylvia D" or maybe I should just be known as the "Wee One" - a title many use and is in fact one I am quite pleased to be known by !! :)

We're not here to be critical of one's writing. We're out here to have fun. I can do typographical errors as well as the next one. Hi girls, thank you all for your words of support, you´re very nice and we all love Michael´s music and have fun talking about it.As Sylvie asked me,I lived a year in Winnipeg and 3 years in London,Ontario and my younger brother lives in Vancouver,so Canada has a special place in my heart.In July,it was the first time I saw Michael in concert,he was here with Kenny G. and was a great show.His voice is amazing! I was there with my 13 years old daughter and she loved it too.Michael´s music is always playing in my house,in my car and even in my MP3 when I go jogging.The song "Survivor" gives me strenght and I love "Murder my heart".From "Gems" I love them all but my favourites are "Love is everything","I´m not ready" and "The prayer" because the words in italian sounds much alike portuguese and sounds wonderful.They don´t play him on the radio that much but there was too much people on the concert.I´ll try to post a picture.So now I´m only hoping to meet him and have a picture togheter the next time he comes to Portugal, I keep dreaming!Take care :) Silvia PS

Dreams can come true Silvia without a doubt for have you seen the pictures of the girls from Germany etc. when they met Michael when he was in Dresden and Astrid gave him an Oscar for Jack Sparrow and then the other pictures of the girls in the States who met him when he did a show in New York and they are just the most recent ones from this year - plenty of the other girls have met him and had their photo taken with him so, definitely, keep dreaming !! :) 

So glad to hear that you love Gems too for it is a beautiful CD and it is very difficult to pick a favourite from it - everyone is finding that a problem if such a thing can be classed as a problem - but I personally do love "Love Is Everything" as you have said for it is beautiful and I also love "Fields of Gold" and "Over The Rainbow" and every single other one too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.

On Canada I had family who stayed in Vancouver and I still have family who live not too far outside of Vancouver in a place called Kelowna - I have been over there for a holiday and I thoroughly enjoyed it, just loved those Rocky Mountains and Banff and Jasper and wanted to get into Alaska but didn't make it that far - maybe next time !!!!! LOL.
