Well, the rules for the signed CD say a profile user photo of "your pretty self." What exactly is the definition of "pretty self"? Our dogs are an extension of ourselves, right? This pic of my pup Tiny is way cuter than any pic of me, so let this be "my pretty self"! :)

Oh wow! He IS absolutely gorgeous! He does not look old! He looks very young and in beautiful shape! Is 25 old for a horse? Can you still ride him?
Best,
Jan
OK I'm glad you can see the photo..He's doing well according to the vet, he's got 5 acres to himself and he conditions himself being able to do what he wants, he goes in and out all day, is in at night. I could still ride him but I don't. We have no place to ride around here anymore and it's no fun alone in his field. When I got him about 17 years ago our neighbors also had horses and we all rode trails near here, they are no longer an option either.
So he's a family member-we all spoil him. Mom has always taken care of him over the years with my traveling to see MB. My parents love him to death, old horse folks that they are.

Yes he's about a person 100 in people years more or less-some say a bit different but that's an average. He's getting to be older now, but can live to be in his early 30's..He's more gray here and there every year but in that photo he doesn't show it. He doesn't act his age, at times he's all Arab, bucking and running and snorting with his head arched and tail up flying across the field if something upsets him, he's a big character!

Thanks for asking to see him!!! So sorry this got off-topic :(
Robin :)
Hey Robin,
Sometimes the older horse longs to be ridin' by a lover of his own. I rode many horses in my day, and the older ones long for attention sometimes in a rider who can stll arise the spunk in them. That's the joy they get from being saddled up and ridden hard!!!! It somehow makes them feel young again, prolongs their life.

Kellie, My guy is happy just being a horse, he's spoiled and fussed over w/o my riding anymore. Actually alot of the time horses sour of their work and like a change of pace. He never liked being a lesson horse in his young days and liked just trail riding.. he didn't have the show personality. I enjoyed riding him but at times he wasn't as happy about it, they are always ready to get the bit out of their mouths and go run w/o one of us on their backs I think...but they are dedicated creatures that do what's asked when asked!!LOL

I've had him since he was 7 years old. He turned 8 not long after that.
Thanks Dianna for making the photo smaller.

Robin :)
