Following a request and suggestion from a very dear friend of all of ours on this forum, Sylvie from Canada, I’ve agreed to set up this thread on behalf of both of us and hope that you’ll join in the fun .
Sylvie's idea came from the age old New Year resolution pledges that we’ve all made and have often all broken, throughout the years, and hoped that by trying a "new sauce" on that "old turkey" it could feel easier for us all and give us a chance to be able to "pat ourselves on the back" and proudly say we achieved our goal of following to the end our... "New Month"... resolution instead........ what do you think?
We both agreed that the month of January would be a "freeby" so we can share suggestions if any of our usual active forum members are interested in this project which, we both hope, will turn into something worthwhile and a lot of fun too. So guys, if you’d like to take part, please feel free to share your ideas of what you think would be useful and fun resolutions for all of us to follow each month.
Obviously this January is, apart from a "freeby" month, a trial month too so that Sylvie and I can see your interest in this and figure out what the majority think so that we can start February with a very firm idea of what our 1st Resolution will be. Each one, thereafter, will be clearly displayed before the month begins and will be advertised with an MB calendar as is shown below for our "freeby" month of January. We hope that each month we can all share stories, tips and cheer each other on.
If you’re interested please join in and give us your thoughts and let’s make this great forum even more of a fun place to visit where we can all come together as friends, thanks to our love and admiration for our Michael.

I love your belief Laura and as you say keep the faith in your dreams for that is all we have to hold onto but I must say there is one of mine I am still holding onto for you say, all you want to do is cut his hair, it is a not a marriage proposal, well I extended a marriage proposal to him on the "question" section started on FB and as I haven't yet received a NO I am keeping the faith......I must admit it is hanging on by a very, very, very thin thread but it is hanging on !!!!!!! LOL. I certainly wish you well in fulfilling your dream and as I certainly believe in the adage "never say never" I will not be surprised if you achieve it !!! :))
I do hope you will join us on this thread whenever you can Laura and give your input even if it is to just cheer the rest of us on that are going to do something each month !!! :)
Take care Laura !! :)

Just believe in yourself and all will be well. take care my wee scottish friend.
Hey Laura, good to read you posting on a thread! I’m with Sylvia about your resolution. Maybe you have to take it one step at a time: first get close enough, then give him your card that has a web site that displays your handy work, what do you think? :D Stranger things have happened! Take care Laura and good luck! Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Thanks sylvie i will just repeat what i told sylvia, Never give up on your dreams. Cause you never know. I have got close enough to him and even met him but at that time i was so star struck i was lucky i could speak. But over the years i realized he is just like everyone else except that his is a AWESOME entertainer. Just like i am a AWESOME hairdresser. So i will keep asking and ya never know . Thanks for the comments and take care. Oh yeah what part of canada are you from i graduated high school in New Brunswick. But i am from the U.S. Beautiful place though. Good people!
Hey Laura, oh I know for a fact that dreams come true: this forum is a dream come true to me! :D I'm from the province of Quebec, in the Montreal area . May I ask why you were studying in New Brunswick? BTW, I like a girl who can assess her own talents! lol Well, if you can't toot your own horn, who will, right? Take care Laura and thanks for your response. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Qc Canada
Back in the 80's my mom who was canadien wanted to move back to be close to her parents her dad was dying, So i finished my last 2 years of highschool there but came right back to the states to live . After all i was raised down here. But i do have fond memories. I hear montreal is beautiful . Lucky u Thats right you always have to believe in yourself and i was meant to do what i am doing. Since i was a child all i wanted to do was cut hair. Anything i could get my hands on. Watch out. Its just part of who i am. Keep the faith.!
LOL.......I adore it Dianna !!! :))))) Is that how Michael has to reply to a thread by making a video which contains HIM doing the same moves as that koala ??????? ROFL. Absolutely wonderful and such a darn cute little fellow....I have fallen in love with him !!! LOL.
I thought about something last night that MAYBE we could give some consideration to and it does follow along doing something relating to MB -although please remember resolutions to follow don't have to have anything to do with Michael - and it was that as Michael considers his way of "eating" to be a healthy way why don't we attempt to become vegetarians for a month......obviously that only relates to those that are not already but if anyone is a vegetarian possibly they could help out by supplying the "heathens" of us with recipes to follow. I think something like that could turn into a good laugh if we are all honest and tell of our culinary disasters or complete and wonderful successes and certainly the sharing of a recipe is something that Michael could do with us !!!!!!! LOL That is a joke and recipe I am up to.....I'll get MB on this forum yet and if I don't, it certainly will not be for the want of trying !!!!!!! LOL.
Sylvia. Your wee Scottish friend.
LOL Sylvia you made me think of Michael doing this little dance :)
Although when he did the Elvis song he did have some nice moves

Love Dianna xxx
Thanks for the link Dianna and it is a great video and as you say Michael did have some good moves in that one and I adore the hat but wait till we get that "koala dance" going.....there will be no video to compare with it.....totally unique !!!! ROFL.
Sylvia. Your wee Scottish friend.
Does anybody believe the Wee One could be struck dumb, faint and ROFL all at the same time..... well it happened five minutes ago when I popped over to FB and found this:
I am going to start dancing like Dianna's little koala bear that is my New Year Resolution after reading Michael's post and I hope HE is practicing so that we can "boogie" together !!!!!!! LOL. LOL. LOL. I told him that he had struck me dumb.....the only person connected to this forum that has managed it so far !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL.
In all seriousness; beautiful words and I do hope that Michael manages to fulfil and keep to his resolution and as I said to him in my comment, know it want be for the lack of trying, if he fails !!!! :)
Sylvia. Your wee Scottish friend.
Hey Sylvia, yes I believe you can be all those things, but since it’s a tall order, Michael is the only one who’s been able to do it so far! :D Girl, I was just about to post this message and realized Michael’s resolution was just posted as a blog! That is a wonderful resolution indeed and it might silence the doubtful who shallremain nameless out there... :D So will that dance be your next video Sylvia? :D Incidentally, not that it’s important, but koalas are not bears: they’re marsupials. Maybe I should resolve to keep my “know-it-all” comments to myself! Lol But seriously, I came on here because I found my new year’s resolution yesterday and started on it right away: I will stop procrastinating. Since I got my latest computer problems last fall, I’ve realized how huge a task I had to recover and file an insane amount of messages, for starters. Also, the expression : “out of sight, out of mind” takes a whole new meaning when you’re blind so too many things are left unresolved, unfiled etc, so I thought I’d remedy that this year, please wish me luck! Aside from monthly ones on this forum, I’ll do my best to keep up with that one this year and beyond. Thanks a lot for sharing Michael’s resolution Sylvia. So, any serious thought on a yearly or monthly one for you? Do let us know and take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
