It seems as though Jennifer Nettles has found herself a superstar! After an emotional performance of the Michael Bolton ballad ‘How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,’ J Rome maintained a perfect track record at the top of the scoreboard, leading the pack three-for-three in as many weeks of competition.

Just like fellow Nettles protege John Glosson, J Rome chose this week’s song for intensely personal reasons. “I’m dedicating this week’s peformance to my grandpa,” said the hopeful just before taking the stage. “My last memory of him was when he was in the nursing home.”

“He sang with me. We sang ‘Amazing Grace’ and that was the last time I saw him,” shared the frontrunner.

The pair’s emotional performance resonated greatly with the remaining three celebrity mentors. “Team KC — we love you!” confessed a tearful Kelly Clarkson. “I love this show. You’re so good. I hate you!” joked the Texas native.

“What can I say after that? I’m running out of nice things to say about J Rome,” said John Legend. ”Phenomenal vocals. This is the tearjerker episode. I can’t take it anymore.”

An overwhelmed Robin Thicke was left speechless, offering only a congratulatory round of applause following the performance.

“I’m honored,” said the Sugarland singer following the performance. “That was a dedication for his grandfather. I’m honored to be a part of that.”

J Rome took command of the leader board in the first week of competition, and tied for first place during week two of competition. J Rome solidified his place as a show frontrunner with his third consecutive finish at the top.

Hey Sylvie, Unless I tell you this must be the time slot for them! I'll tell you if I hear anything on time changes! BTY...I absolutely Loved Weds. nights show...so much that I am trying to think of how Jennifer Nettles & Michael could team up for "Country Crossroads"!!! I thought of that and thought how nice that would be!

Mary (Meg's mom)!

I was watching Mary last night and I swear they said the show will be on Thursday next week???? Did you hear that also???

Kathy and LAFD Bob

Hey Mary, I hate to tell you this but I heard that next week, they go live and it'll go back to Thursdays. Jennifer is a fabulous duet partner. Now I've only heard "Crossroads" once, but don't the artists need to have a specific connection to be together on the show? You seem to love that show a lot, "Crossroads" that is. :D All right girl, I'm out. Take good care of yourself girl and talk to you as soon as I can. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hey Kathy & Sylvie, I guess I was sooo excited after that great show that I didn't pay any attention:)! My hubby tapes my shows for me! Thanks for the heads up on the time slot:)! About Crossroads, they put Steven Tyler & Carrie Underwood together and it was Awesome! They take Rock & mix it with country...but who's to say Michael wouldn't be a Great candidate, especially with Jennifer!

Take Care, BTW who are your favs. so far?

Mary (Meg's mom)!

Hi Mary, I can't say that I'm terribly excited about the show, I'm sorry to say but I do like J Rome and as I've said, I think Jennifer is a terrific duet partner. There are some people who can sound good and harmonize with anyone at all, like Olivia Newton-John for instance. I don't think I've ever heard her sing a bad duet. JMO Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hey Sylvie, they announced 2-nite that Jennifer is having a baby:)! She has a song called "Baby-Girl" if you haven't heard it, I think you might like it! Right now I'm all for J. Rome & Jennifer and I hope they have a cd together, I love the way they collaborate:)! And he is so Humble:)!

Mary (M&M's)!

Hi Mikey and welcome to the forum. If you can find the “Tours, gigs and announcements” section, you can find 3 sections of tour reviews: the 2010, 2011 and the current 2012 one. Fans post their reviews, pics and video links to concerts they’ve attended and some we were lucky enough to find on the internet. Well as long as I'm here, here are the links:
