2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.

Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January.  There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here.  I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and  the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well!  After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012.  Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

We used to talk all his albums and start way back in the Black Jack days and play them in order (cassettes back in the early years) and listen to as many of his albums as the trip would take!!LOL Fun way to help the miles go by!!!

Hi dears - I have quite a surprise for you ! Do you remember when MB was in Saint Petersburg for the White Nights festival? Voila!  I've searched and ,to my delight, I found the following link that willl take you back in time right there with him : http://live.rt.ru/view/1258. I think you won't have the patience to watch quite everything that happened on that first day(night) of the festival therefore you should forward the video to the aprox. 20:00:00 time mark.

Thanks Nic....that was great!!! It is very different to see Michael sing several songs with no real intro before each one. I think there was a little mistake during Nessun Dorma ;) My volume was working too well but there seemed to be a pause during the song. Not sure if Michael missed a note or if the band did :) The actual Michael time is 22:00:00 ...lol The stage was beautiful and Michael seemed so alone without his band...lol Very beautiful venue!!! Thanks so much Nic....and you are right...I didn't have the patience for the other acts!!!! LOL

Thank you for finding that, enjoyed it very much!! He sounded great as always!  Funny I couldn't hear the audience much, sounded like no one was clapping?  That was odd, guess they were but the sound was low for them.  Thanks again:)

Hey Nic, I'm gonna need a little help for this one, but thanks so much for sharing this with all of us: good work! Now can we put you on another mission? lol Michael was apparently on a TV show called "AVO sessions", either in Australia or Germany last Sunday. Hey Sylvie - Studio TV Australia website doesn't have any videos posted concerning the episode that features MB which is part of a series that "presents the finest performances from Switzerland's annual AVO Session music festival". The only video I was able to find is : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7LipOcVhmc&feature=plcp and this is just a review of "performance highlights" for the last week. ... sorry ...(:   ... mission impossible :))) All the best et de bis - Nic   |  PS : MB was invited to AVO sessions festival which takes place in Basel, Switzerland in 2010.

Thanks for information Nic and I too have been checking by going in through Pilar's link and haven't located anything but the little advertisement video that I got and posted and from your further information about year MB was on AVO I wasn't too far out with the year, was I, for I think I went for 07 to 09 ?? :))

Since I can't seem to retrieve the St. Petersburg event, did Michael sing the Christmas songs unaccompanied? OMG. Would have love to have heard that. Robin CA what are you talking about Christmas songs in July for.....I know the year is going fast but please slow down a little bit, it ain't Christmas, YET !!! LOL   The songs Michael sang were WAMLAW, "You Don't Know Me" and "Nessun Dorma" In St. Petersburg.
