Black Hudson?

I know it's not the most valid source but wikipedia said that on September 1, 2012 Michael Bolton released an album titled Black Hudson. Anyone know anything about this? I've looked everywhere and found nothing.

Glad you managed to listen to it Scott and hope you liked it.....I think it is fantastic and such an almost completely different style for MB and I don't really see it on any album.....think I had better listen to again along with some CD's at same time !! LOL   I don't no where I am getting it but to me it sounds like a young Dylan or young Springsteen especially his "Nebraska" album or even going as far back as "Michael Bolotin" or even more in the style of Orrin,....I find it a totally different style to anything he almost has done and so darn refreshing I wish he would put it somewhere and anymore he may be hiding from that time BUT in the meantime, I will listen to again and again and again !!!!!! LOL.

Thanks Gloria for finding and putting link on here but for me link didn't work straight into song but it gave the method to download for free which I had done way back after Florin supplied that link on FB after he had tried to find out more about it.....strange too how we couldn't find out anything and yet by that website you have posted Gloria there are so many places that have it for download.....unless they have all taken from a "first" supplier.    The website I downloaded it from is on that list and yet when I checked their website they showed nothing for MB let alone "The Man" and that I still find, strange ....maybe I will look into way I can possibly send e-mail to them and ask why they removed it but it maybe something as simple as time because it was 2nd November, 2011 when it first popped up and that was how with MB talking about new album some began to wonder if it was a sneak preview of something for that but of course that turned out to be "Gems" which it certainly doesn't belong on !! lol.

Well I'm back! I know its been a while but I have been thouroughly busy doing a Totinos Pizza Commercial! I should be appearing more frequently because I shouldn't have anything on my plate of major productions for another month and a half or so.

Hi Scott, good to have you back! Well I guess commercial production is slow during the holidays? :D Listen, I was wondering, have you  taken the time to start exploring the forum yet? Since you keep coming back to this thread, I have a feeling you may not have. Something tells me that the section that would probably interest you the most would be the “music” section. If you click on the “All discussions” link on any forum page, you can browse through the categories like “General chat”, “The music”, “Tours, gigs and announcements” etc, so you can decide what interests you and what thread you’d like to join in. The most popular thread is the “2012 tour reviews” thread, especially since Michael is back in the States and touring for most of the rest of the year. Hi Scott and glad to have you back with us and hope all is well with you ??? :)   You don't say whether you were appearing in the commercial or just solely producing it and if appearing, should those in the States start looking out for a next Oscar winner !!! lol.

Hope you will look round forum Scott and find something of interest to you and somewhere where you feel you can come in and contribute to the thread !! :)

Ahh I did not specify whether I was appearing in the commercial. No I am just directing and co funding it. If you see a Pizza add on youtube in the coming weeks it is most likely mine. Truth be told yeah commercial time is usually the best a few months prior to Christmas season. I utilize the downtime to start working on personal projects like my new War of the Worlds interpretation. Haha thanks! I really hope that things keep going well in the film world.

Haha I wish they came with free pizzas lol!... If they put credits it will be the choice of the company, unfortunately once I finish a commercial it's simply sent to the studios and I don't hear much after that. It's almost entirely their say.

I am back and have been busier than ever! Love Michael's new CD. My girlfriend and I both got it the other day. I want to see more work with him and Kelly Rowland in the future. I am trying to get tickets for Michael's concert at the Snoqualmie Casino in April. Money's been tight, ironic because the business I'm in is usually associated with money haha. I'm actually working on my first feature film venture with the independent film industry. I am working on a project that I plan to release at least in limited theatrical release at Seattle International Film Festival within the next two years. I plan to try and get copyright permission to use the song Just One Love as the end credits song. I hope this all works out! Whats everyone's favorite tracks on the new album?

Hi Scott and glad to read you again and do hope you get tickets for the show in April and pleased to hear you like new CD.  I haven't got copy yet so will reserve judgement but so far from clips I have heard it is "Tracks Of My Tears" and only too because a song from the "past" !!!! LOL.

Hope all your hard work continues well for you and hope too that you get permission to use the song in your end credits and will be looking out for the Seattle International Film Festival highlights in 2015...LOL   Hope we might get a little preview beforehand ???????

Definitely will get a preview and hopefully a screening before the movie comes out :) 

I think Aint No Mountain High Enough is my favorite track because of his amazing vocals and Kelly Rowlands soothingly powerful voice. other then that definitely Whats Going On (it's my colleges theme song for music so I'm a little biased :P) 

I certainly hope we make a splash in 2015! I definitely am trying to get at first a local audience and build it up to an international audience. For people in Europe I'd try and get my film to Cannes as soon as possible. I'm currently researching festivals internationally i could spread it to in the coming years.

Hi Scott and agree with you on ANMHE and Kelly Rowland for love their version of it and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the CD and hear it all but should have a copy quite soon as well as maybe having some further idea of when it is actually going to be released in the UK and what the version might contain that is different from the States one.   Saw a tweet from Michael last night and he was answering someone from Australia who had asked him about release of CD there and he said it would be in April so wondering if can take it that it may well be April for the UK too.....have to wait and see !!! :)
