This should be a very exciting year for all of us with MB’s new book coming out as well as a new CD and possibly his TV show starting later in the year too? We never know with MB as he’s got so many things going on at once!!LOL   We can report here if there are any book signings as well if you all want to. Hazleton PA Concert 2/24/2012

We had a good time last night at the concert in Hazleton, PA.  We were able to sit outside in the lobby for a while and listen to sound check.  They ran thru the Motown songs alot and the duets and some of the classics.  Nice people there and there were 2 huge posters of MB's show on the wall. Two times people asked me to take their pics and I suggested in front of the posters and they liked that idea!LOL  Nice people in general there last night..

We had great seats, 2nd row aisle on the left side..so good angle for pics of MB playing guitar..but the lighting wasn't as good as Greensburg so I had a bit of a time at times with getting pictures..I did get some in the mix and a video of Sweet Home Chicago that rocks!!LOL  I'm a novice at video taking and hope to get all the stuff I like between all the 4 shows on video.

MB made a different entrance to this show.  He came out around the side behind Brian and across to the center mic and he had to move the mic that was placed with his stool in front of the piano to get past it, yipes!!. He started talking and thanking PA for having him etc... and didn't sing Soul Provider. Instead he then sat on the stool in front of the piano and started To Love Somebody as the first song. He looked down and smiled and said hello when he saw us before he started or they gave him the guitar and said he had friends strategically placed in the audience.LOL  Not as energetic an opening to the show but he sounded wonderful as always. He teased the crowd with the reflection off the guitar again which was funny, saying he's 12 years old or something like that.  No one sang Happy Birthday this time but they yelled it out and he said he's in permanent denial now and will count them backwards from now on..LOL  The rest of it went pretty much as in Greensburg. MB did an amazing version of The Pray with Kelly and got a big standing ovation! Gave you chills..Those two are something else singing together!!!!  The Motown songs ROCKED AGAIN and everyone was clapping and singing along to those..OMG... LOVE THEM TO DEATH!!!! :) :)  He was all smiles and chatted with a man center stage that talked about Italy at one point and that was a good segway into Nessun Dorma.  Which was wonderful as always..He nailed it!!

The band did a fab job on their interlude and we all were waiting for MB to come into the audience. There are no side doors so he had to come in the far back and walk down 3/4th way down the aisle opposite our side and stand on the packing case!!LOL  He did a great job and shook a lot of hands getting back to the stage and took cards and gifts as he went. We all waited till he got finished WAMLA and we all went to the stage, big crowd went.Whew!!! Some gals in front of us said they were going so we said we were too when he was done the song..  Nice low stage too and it was packed!! Got our spot between the piano and center stage..Love that spot!!!LOL   MB looked down and grinned at the mob that so quickly gathered and then started How Can We Be Lovers!!LOL Lots of looks into cameras (mine included a few times) and posing and putting the mic down etc..He had on the same blue T shirt and Jeans as Bethehem in my pics in the gallery and the scarf, no vest (yet)..Then he did TLT and did some hand shakes and caught mine one time down our side !LOL Love it......then he did STEEL BARS!! Woo Hoo!!! Love that and he was rocking the house and did the jump at the end (I have a good pic of it)..Then they lined up for the end and we thought maybe no encore. He walked right past us in front of the piano and I said I'd see him Tuesday and he smiled and nodded...Then they did come back out and he sat right in front of us to sing Georgie!! Woo Hoo!!!!! And we noticed the vest had reappeared.LOL  You will see in my pictures!!! We notice these things!!LOL  He got Michael Lington to start Georgia and they did a fantastic job!!!!  After that one that was really the end..MB waved to the crowd and he was gone.....Another fun night was over so fast!!!!!

My friend and I got to see the girls again from Bethlehem last summer, the sisters that had a 3rd that missed that  show in Bethlehem last summer due to a surgery and MB talked to her on the phone while on stage. I had taken photos at the show of MB talking on the phone to her and then was able to surprise her with the help of her sister Kay that posted here..Her name is Kelly and she was there last night. I was able to see her and she thanked me for getting her the autographed pic of MB talking to her I sent last summer. I asked him to sign it at the golf in CT..and sent it to her as a surprise..LOL She's a sweet gal and all 3 will be in York too so I let them know about the fan  birthday card and they know to sign it.

Another concert done already...:(  Excited for York tomorrow.. Woo Hoo.  Now that show will be full if extra electricity!!LOL

Hi Robin, okay your turn! Lol Thanks a lot for another great review. Don’t worry, we’ll take any old video you have to share, much appreciated! :D Hmm, see if you can get “The prayer” tomorrow... I’m sure the Motown songs energize the show a lot and great to hear there’s still lots of fan interaction. Aww, how sweet about the signed pic Robin: I love it that fans help each other in that way... :D Thanks again for your detailed review and make sure you get rested up for tomorrow if you can sleep! Lol Take care Robin. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada

Great review Kathy R. and another fantastic Bolton adventure for you and your friend. The Grammy Museum sounds like so much fun and it would be a very interesting place to visit for certain.
It was very nice of you to have the book signed for Sylvia, hoping too she gets her moment real soon.
It is a hoot you carried that poster around with you for so long and a great moment for you finally getting it signed, good for you, girl. Thanks for sharing, Kathy, and hope that flu bug goes away soon too.

Hugs,

Kathy T. :-)

Hi Robin,

I remember when you had Michael talk to Kelly while in the hospital and I was very moved by him having done that for her, glad that she was able to attend this time and you had so much fun. Can hardly wait to see the photos and videos. Have another great time tommorow night!!! Thanks for yet another fabulous review, looking forward to what else you can get into tommorow.

Have Fun!

Kellie

Robin MD., thanks for another fabulous review. I am with you, MB and Kelly are so fantastic singing together or solo, I became a Kelly fan the first time I saw her perform in Branson with MB. So funny MB is now going to count his birthdays backwards, I have also been doing that for two years now, this year I will be 26, LOL.......
So happy Kelly from Bethlehem was able to be at last nights concert and is well now.
I am really looking forward to the videos you took, Robin MD., and the photos, all of it, getting really excited here!!!! I wish you ladies going tomorrow night a most fantastic evening and I will be there in spirit I promise you. I may save listening to my cd I received today for concert time tomorrow night. Robin MD., you enjoy that Sweet Home Chicago for me too if MB sings it, love, love, love it!!!!!!!

Hugs,

Kathy T. ;-)

Hi Robin, wonderful review - again, LOL. I love that story sequel with the lady called Kelly who recently missed her chance to see MB due to her illness and how she was compensated. You are so kind and sweet yourself! I can't believe that soon you will be back with an even better report!! I hope you will have a good rest on your cloud 9 and will be prepared for tomorrow (inclusive batteries a.s.o. LOL)

Enjoy a very special evening - I'll be there in spirit, too. Astrid

Hey Robin. Wow! What an awesoe review. Once again, I felt like I was there. Thanks girl. That's something"Sole Provider" was left out this time. Glad you got to take pictures&he touch your hand. I'm glad you met up with the triplets kelly&her sisters. Maybe they're twins. Sorry I'm confused again. That was neat you got the 1 girl the autographed photo.
