Loved Michael's video too. I almost broke down & cried listening to his message. Wow!

The next show on MB's tour is on Saturday at Harrah's Atlantic City, Atlantic City, NJ on March 2, 2013.

I know some of the forum members are attending this one as well as a few friends of mine. I hope we get some more reviews after this one.

I'm posting this before heading out later today for Chester, PA for the show there tonight.

Mother Nature is cooperating for us for both shows here in the Mid Atlantic/ North Eastern part of the USA. Just partially cloudy at times and mostly dry the next two days/nights!! Hurray!!!!!!!

Ah! ha! We are gonna have reviews from tonight&tomorrow night. Yee hey! yahoo.

You are so amazing and have been my favorite singer since I was like 10.. You performed near my hometown November 9, 2002 at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga. I remember this day clearly b/c I had all intentions & dreams of going until my youngest daughter decided she would come into this world on November 7, 2002..I was literally depressed about it for weeks..lol..I felt like my dreams of meeting you were crushed.. I was so upset, of course not b/c she was born but b/c they kept me in the hospital and I wasn't able to come..If there was one thing in this world that would make my dreams come true it would be to meet you!!! Hopefully soon, like real soon :) you will feel like umm, ya know, feel really generous and make my dreams come true!!
That would be so amazingly awesome..You just don't have a clue! Even my 15 and 10 year old knows your songs they have listened to them since they were born...So, with all that being said please consider helping me to make my dream come true!!!I

Yeah, nature can be the future. Awesome about your daughter who's 10 now? Wow! I'm sorry you missed the cocnert but Jennifer. Welcome to the forum & thanks for your little story.

An article from the Courier Post on 28th February to do with concerts coming up in Harrah's Casinos along with a beautiful picture which, unfortunately, it doesn't say where from but as it does mention talking to MB in York wonder if it is from his "birthday show" but whatever and whenever it is a lovely photo so made sure I brought over with article;  do wonder if older because he doesn't have on a scarf !!!

"With a string of hit singles that spun off a series of platinum-selling albums — and a pair of Grammy Awards that acknowledged his achievements — there’s no denying that Michael Bolton’s diet of mostly power ballads and Motown covers has paid off handsomely.

His success has earned him the right to go on stage each night and serenade his audience with nothing but his own big hits. And it isn’t very likely he’d hear any complaints from his loyal fans, who have been snapping up his albums and packing his concerts for more than 25 years.

Bolton turned 60 earlier this week, but the only midlife crisis he seemed to be experiencing is which new project to tackle first.

"It's both exciting and (I'm) in a state of denial," he told the York, Pa., Daily Record earlier this month.

Bolton celebrated his actual birthday on Tuesday on the road, a place that’s been both comfortable and familiar to him since the late 1970s.

"That is really exciting to me," he said. "Touring is my primary love (as well as) getting to sing the songs and describe creating them and re-creating them to the audience."

Just because he’s entering his sixth decade doesn’t mean Bolton is showing any signs of slowing down.

In January, Bolton released his autobiography "The Soul of It All: My Music, My Life." A few weeks later, he debuted his 21st studio album, "Ain’t No Mountain High Enough: A Tribute to Hitsville U.S.A.," which pays tribute to the music of the Motown record label and the influential stars it’s produced.

"Almost every artist I know has visited that body of work," he said of the Detroit-based sound that produced artists such as Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and the late Marvin Gaye, and also helped break down racial barriers in America.

"They brought music that united the youth of America," he added. "You would see shows like ‘American Bandstand’ (have) mixed audiences for the first time. What’s not lost on me was that part of our history and the cultural statement that was made."

Expect to hear some cuts from the new album when Bolton returns to Harrah’s Resort for a one-night-stand Saturday, along with many of the songs that were hits for both Bolton and artists he’s written for over the years.

What you won’t hear are songs he performed when he was still known as Michael Bolotin and fronting the hard rock band Blackjack and opening for acts like Ozzy Osboune and Peter Frampton in the late 1970s.

But even that wasn’t his entry into the recording business. He released his first album as a solo artist in 1975. The self-titled collection of songs didn’t exactly rock the charts. It "peaked," if that’s the right word, at 209 on the Billboard 200 chart.

He released two albums with Blackjack in 1979 and 1980, and while the LPs didn’t exactly burn up the charts, they gave Bolton plenty of exposure as a songwriter. Either by himself or in collaboration with fellow band member Bruce Kulick, Bolton wrote all 10 tracks on the band’s debut album.

Bolton gained recognition as a songwriter when Laura Branigan sang his song "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" to the top of the adult contemporary list in 1983.

By the end of the ’80s, Bolton had emerged as a sought-after pop composer and began performing a combination of both original material and covers of classics, like his take on Otis Redding’s "(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay." Several years later, his searing and soulful interpretation of the Percy Slegde anthem "When A Man Loves a Woman" earned him his first Grammy Award.

In addition to always being on the prowl for new material — or old material that he can adapt into a new sound — Bolton enjoys collaborating with an interesting cross-section of musicians and singers. Over the years, he’s written for, recorded or performed with artists ranging from opera greats like Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo to Ray Charles, Céline Dion, BB King and Wynonna Judd.

Now Bolton has his sights set on teaming with The Roots.

Bolton was supposed to perform a song or two with the house band when he appeared on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" a few weeks ago. Instead, Bolton and The Roots hit it off so well, he ended up sitting in with them through the entire TV show.

"I've been wanting to go and do anything with those guys," Bolton said of the Philadelphia-based band. "We're talking about doing some recording."
