2013 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!!!!! EVERYONE WELCOME!! COME ON IN AND JOIN THE FUN!!

Welcome everyone to the 2013 Tour Review Thread!!!!!!!  It is hard to believe another year is soon upon all of us and it should be a fantastic Michael Bolton year full of fun and adventures for Michael's fans around the world!

Feel free to post  your stories and pictures, any videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2013 starting in Jamaica in January.  There could be other events  too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert come on in and share your experience here. We also have shows scheduled in the USA for February and one is on MB’s birthday which will be extra special!! This should be a very exciting year for all of us with MB’s new book coming out as well as a new CD and possibly his TV show starting later in the year too? We never know with MB as he’s got so many things going on at once!!LOL   We can report here if there are any book signings as well if you all want to. Also, later in the year the Michael Bolton Charities will schedule their events to raise funds for the MBC.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Michael Bolton visits Horseshoe Casino

  Singer Michael Bolton was apparently on hand for Monday night’s grand opening of the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati. This afternoon, he tweeted about the event:  

And yes, there seems to be at least one witness. Dave Peterson, general manager for WCPO-Digital, tweeted the following photo of what appears to be Bolton in conversation with former football great Lynn Swann:

HI I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY NOW THAT WE ARE IN 2013 AND WE HAVE HAD A BOOK FROM MICHAEL PLUS A NEW CD AND I KNOW HE WORKS HARD , BUT I CANT WAIT FOR HIM TO COME BACK TO THE UK FOR A CONCERT. TILL THEN I WILL JUST KEEP WISHING IT WILL BE SOON

Hi, everyone!  Before too much time passes I wanted to get a quick review up on the March 1st, Chester, PA concert.  As Robin has said, very nice concert!  When Michael plays there, the show is definitely shorter then other locations.  The casino seems to make him stick to a timing schedule.  I think they want everyone back out on the gambling floor!  Of course, Michael looked great and sounded great!  Personally I was pleased with my grasp of his right bicep as he came down the center aisle singing WAMLAW!  Seize the moment!  And seize it I did...!!!  LOL!

The woman Robin has mentioned in her review was there last year also.  Funny how you remember people!  Last year she was seated on the other side, as I recall in front of Eileen and Lee.  Last year she was drinking quite and bit and got up several times throughout the show.  It appears as if she is the wife/girlfriend of a Harrah's Casino worker and he is making sure she gets a good seat.  When something was mentioned about Michael's CD coming out on his birthday, she mentioned that it was her birthday too.  Michael questionned her.  That it was her birthday, too?!  He told her he didn't believe her!  It was very funny!  I don't believe her either!  She seems to like attention...

Before the concert started the announcer did mentioned that one of The Shirelles, a female musical group from the 1960s, was in the audience.  He did mention her name, but I don't recall it.  She was seated one row in front of us and to the right.  Nice that Michael is getting this support!  (I know that Valerie Simpson from Ashford and Simpson was in the audience in AC.)

Nice show!  Fun night!  Great to see Michael again!

After Joy gets her AC review up, I'll add my AC excitement!  Thanks, all...

Aw! Diane. Your review seems awesome to me. Neat one of the Shirells were in the audience. Love the girl groups. Yes ma'm. I had heard The simpson girl was there as well. Almost a star stutted evening. :)))))) I'm glad for you&as far as that lady wanting attention, she got it. We all like attention but come on? Anyway, an awesome review, my friend. I can't wait to read more on it&Eilene's as well. :))))))

Thanks Diane for coming in with your review and especially admitting it isn't his hand you go after.....girl after my own heart;  yeah, if a bicep or tricep is there go for it and touch it and squeeze it !!! LOL   Thanks Diane and think Michael is too long in the tooth and street wise to be taken in by some that try to fool him and thanks for letting us know his response to her for certainly do love that one...half joking, full earnest !!! lol

Hey Diane..Last year he took your pirate hat right, this year you touched his arm!LOL   That venue is nice and small, I love it for how close you are to the stage..low too even tho they didn't let us stand at it this year..We had fun..Oh we won't forget that lady in the front row, LOL How can we? ROFL  I forgot about the lady from the Shirelles being there..thanks for adding that in...so much happens at a show!!LOL

 

Looking forward to reviews from AC coming in too!!
