Thank you for posting, Gail. I am so very happy for him and hope many more awards will come from other entities as well, he is so very deserving for his great gifts of songwriting and music he has given to us all of these years, fantastic news and always looking forward to what is next too!!

This is so cool! CONGRATULATIONS TO MB!!! He's written so many beautiful songs over the years and he's far from done yet!!LOL

Absolutely wonderful news and so, so pleased for Michael, so pleased !! :) Yesterday I spotted a tweet from a girl who said she had just hit Michael Bolton with her backpack at LAX airport and I did wonder where he was off to and tried to check but couldn't get anything further....now I know and thanks Gail for information and can't wait for follow-ups !! :)

Went onto FB and found the BMI page and they have a post out on Michael's award and this is what they have written.........................

"Tonight Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) honors Michael Bolton for his achievements as a songwriter, artist and humanitarian at the BMI Board of Directors 65th annual NAB dinner reception in Las Vegas! The evening will feature other songwriting greats, including Chris Daughtry, Natalie Cole and Gary Allan."
