Miscellany but exceptionally relevant information about, or from Michael on, MB.

Thought I would start this thread for there does appear, at times, to be different relevant articles, tweets, retweets, pictures etc relating to Michael but not really fitting into an already recognized thread nor, each of them individually, being able to be grouped together where a relevant thread could be started and so decided on this "Miscellany" thread.   

I hope you agree with its relevance and that you enjoy everything that is put in as well as hoping that many will find interesting tidbits about Michael that can be included and help to make this, whilst a serious sharing of information, a FUN page to be able to visit too and, as is my intention, somewhere that everything which does not have a particular "home" can be placed, so that is all grouped together and can be easily found and located if someone wants to look at.

Here now, so that we can all focus on the main reason for this thread, is a beautiful picture of the "Theme" of the thread.......wonder if MB has ever been called that before ???? LOL. 

 

 

Believe this one definitely belongs in here for I would say sharing with us that coconut sorbet is his favourite dessert is both miscellaneous and more than extremely relevant to the "THEME" of this website and in particular, to this thread  !! LOL.

WOW.....what a beautiful, wonderful, heartfelt, fantastic, .....OMG....WOW.... speech !!!!!

So glad the Courier put that out and thanks for bringing over here Francoise......got to get Twitter ROCKING with that today !!!!!!! :)

 

For Sylvie and Robin CA Michael held up his Award and what it is is quite a large oval shaped piece of blown glass....love to know where it was made.....in iridescent blue; absolutely gorgeous !!! :)

Another photo from event and this time it is Michael with the representative of Snap Inc. who also received an Award and they are a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of special needs children through sports, while also promoting awareness and anti-bullying nationally and they are located in Morristown, New Jersey.

Just a little note related to MB getting this award. My mom saw a quick glimpse of him getting it on the local Baltimore, MD news. That was kinda neat. She called to tell me!!!!

Michael has put out two tweets concerning the showing of the "Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight" film which HBO are premiering tonight on their channel at 8.00 p.m. ET and telling everyone to watch......wish I could !!! :)

Another photo has popped up and this one is from Adnan Kifayat who is currently in the US State Department and it is a beautiful photo Sylvie and Robin CA for has been turned into black and white and Adnan is in the foreground with Michael just behind to the left side of him and both looking and smiling at camera and again looks as though taken in the Galt House Hotel at Awards Ceremony.

What Adnan also gave out with his tweet was a youtube link into one of the news reels about the event and thought would put on here if anyone finds this an easier way to access....

Hope you will indulge me as I try to put an embedded code on here and it is into Michael's acceptance speech at the Award Ceremony and if it works think it maybe an easier way for people to access......I have just managed to place it in the main Video Section and that is why I want to try it here.  Also too believe link, which was placed earlier by Francoise, is starting to get swallowed up by everything else being added and do not believe this speech should go into any form of archive for a long time to come for it is truly wonderful.

Can I say on here that the acceptance speech video is in actual fact on Michael's official FB page and was placed there yesterday by himself or, at least, his FB team long before it was brought over here by Francoise.   I am only saying about because I know a lot like to acknowledge what Michael has placed on his FB page there even although it will be over here too but I did not find his post until last night as I did not check his page previously as, not seeing any tweet from him with regard to speech, did not appreciate that he had placed directly onto FB and just in case a few of you are in same boat as myself, thought I would mention, as I know a lot of us are not on FB constantly.
