Thought I would start this thread for there does appear, at times, to be different relevant articles, tweets, retweets, pictures etc relating to Michael but not really fitting into an already recognized thread nor, each of them individually, being able to be grouped together where a relevant thread could be started and so decided on this "Miscellany" thread.
I hope you agree with its relevance and that you enjoy everything that is put in as well as hoping that many will find interesting tidbits about Michael that can be included and help to make this, whilst a serious sharing of information, a FUN page to be able to visit too and, as is my intention, somewhere that everything which does not have a particular "home" can be placed, so that is all grouped together and can be easily found and located if someone wants to look at.
Here now, so that we can all focus on the main reason for this thread, is a beautiful picture of the "Theme" of the thread.......wonder if MB has ever been called that before ???? LOL.
Believe this one definitely belongs in here for I would say sharing with us that coconut sorbet is his favourite dessert is both miscellaneous and more than extremely relevant to the "THEME" of this website and in particular, to this thread !! LOL.
Hope everyone enjoys content and feels free to add their very own miscellany !!! :)

Hey Sylvia, thanks a lot for this article. I know nothing, but I'm not sure what they've based their ranking on. It's mentionned it's about the impact of musicians and somehow, I'm not quite sure Bob Dylan should be that low on the list. Then again, maybe it has to do with sales, but again, I know nothing. Interesting that Michael pops up in all kinds of articles lately, I like it! :D Take care Sylvia. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie QC Canada
A picture tweeted by John R Baker of Michael and Kelly Levesque at the Sportspress Ball in Frankfurt on 2nd November which Michael has retweeted .......
Picture is of Michael and Kelly singing on stage and it is rather lovely because they are holding hands and surprise, surprise I can't remember which song it is they sing where they do sometimes hold hands for a while....can't remember if it is "The Prayer" or not ....och well, doesn't really matter but they are holding hands and it is a lovely photo.

I've come across some covers of Michael's songs by various artists. I sure wish that Michael would still perform these songs, they rock!
This first one is from German guitarist Axel Rudi Pell, with vocals by Johnny Gioeli from the band Hardline:
The vocals on these two are done by Joe Lynn Turner:
I've been looking for a full version of Nathan James singing 'How Am I Supposed to Live Without You', but have only found the snippet posted on his website: www.nathanrocksinger.com. It's enough to hear what an incredible vocalist Nathan is. If you get a chance to go see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, he is currently on tour with the TSO West group, and it is a phenomenal show!
Thanks for posting all of these here Cheval and the Sunstorm ones we got before the album was actually released so they are on here somewhere and I personally think they are fantastic but great to have back on here for those who have joined since then to be able to listen to. I love the Nathan James version of HAISTLWY, like his voice very much, and also Fools Game so thanks for posting. It is great to hear cover versions of Michael's songs and know they are still up there in the rankings of being good enough to do. Thanks again Cheval !!!! :)

I first became familiar with Nathan last year when he joined the Trans-Siberian Orchestra cast. For people who aren't familiar with him, I've been describing his voice as a cross between MB and Axel Rose, with a little Freddie Mercury thrown in. He's really an incredible singer, and he's only 24!
This is Nathan performing with TSO:
Check out his YouTube page for more videos; www.youtube.com/user/NathanRockSinger/videos , here's one of of him performing 'When A Man Loves A Woman':
Nathan's not bad. I do like the orchestra though. I know some folks who have seen them perform. I haven't. wow!
Hi Karen, thanks for sharing your finds. As Sylvia said, I didn't realize it had been that long, but Gail posted the info about Sunstorm in December 2011 here:

Just in case you're looking for the CD. Frankly, I think we should probably start a thread about Michael's music sung by others... Anyway, thanks for sharing about Nathan James also, I'd never heard of him. I just E-mailed Florin Tanase to see if he knows anything about Nathan's version. Florin is probably the authority on here about rare Michael music. If you don't know him, look him up on FB. He's a member on here but mostly sticks to FB. Take care Karen and thanks again. Thought would put this on here as picked it up from a tweet from Shannon yesterday that the Larry Sanders show in which Michael appeared is going to be rerun on VH1 Classic channel on 10th December. I cannot see it on schedule below unless it is included in the section which runs from 6.00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m. of classic videos but thought would mention so that you can check out your listings and see if you can spot when it is on.

Boy, do I remember the Larry Sanders show or what. When Michael said the F. bomb, I thought I'd die laughing. I know. he's human & I was shocked it was on TV. It was on in the late 90's. Gosh knows. I have it somewhere.
