Welcome back Pilar & Petra, you be safe too. I'm glad the worst of the storm, Sylvia is over but still. Good luck with the tree there. :)
Sorry to hear about your accident Kathleen but more than glad to hear everyone okay !!!!!! :) Just as well it wasn't Michael driving that tractor; might have been another accident in your rush to get to him !!!! lol
I got tree back up ....in pot of about 2 feet and it is a fir tree so was able to pull up slightly and then got, kind of, underneath and got hold of main stem and pushed back up and once pot moved it then fell back into position. Plenty of trees down here and structural damage done in and around and unfortunately 2 people lost their lives in Scotland but although places flooded in eastern England not as bad as could have been because of sea defences and also because great number of people were evacuated before it hit but still bad enough in and around the UK on the path it took. We always have had storms, or exceptionally strong winds, generally in January each year but it does appear that the strength of them is getting a little greater and they are spreading in that they travel into England now far more than they ever used to. At least snow didn't amount to anything so will wait and see what we get over weekend and everybody have a great one !!!!! :)

Hallo everybody,
A nice article about the concert yesterday in Mt. Clemens:
Ain’t no road long enough to keep Michael Bolton’s fans away when he’s onstage.
Some fans attending Bolton’s show Thursday night at Macomb Music Theatre in downtown Mount Clemens came from as far away as Wisconsin to see the 60-year-old blue-eyed soul singer.
“It’s his voice,” said Sharon Gardiner, who drove about 500 miles from Spread Eagle, Wis. with her husband, James, to sit in the front row to see the show. “He can help make bad day good and a good day better. He’s just a really good singer.”
Gardiner said she’s seen Bolton in concert at least nine times over the years and didn’t mind making the drive. The couple planned to stay at a relative’s house overnight before heading home on Friday.
Just a few seats away from her in the front row was Scott and Jana Benjamin of Grand Rapids who made the trip across the state to be in Mount Clemens for Bolton’s performance.
The couple was there as part of their 20th wedding anniversary. In a sign of true love two decades ago, the two each had the phrase “You are my soul provider” -- a line from a 1989 song “Soul Provider” -- inscribed on wedding rings they purchased for each other.
“It was unbeknownst to me that he did that and I did the same thing,” Jana Benjamin said.
Scott Benjamin, who used to reside in Harrison Township, was impressed with the renovations at Macomb Music Theatre, a former vaudeville theater.
“It really does look great,” he said. “The last time I was here was years it was a movie theater.”
Ironically for the Benjamins, Bolton -- wearing jeans, a black blazer and dark shirt -- , opened his set with “Soul Provider” before he took a seat on a stool to sing the Bee Gees’ hit “To Love Somebody,” which later also became a chart climber for Bolton.
Bolton went on to perform songs from his latest CD “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough: A Tribute to Hitsville U.S.A.,” a collection of Motown tunes. Bolton, who’s had nine No. 1 hits and has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, is also working with a video crew on a documentary about Detroit.

Why do all spectators so well on the seats sit? Hello? You are on a Michael's concert. There one should stand on the chairs!!!!!

Thanks a million for that one Petra for that certainly was a different article about show including the audience so much and I feel it made it extra special for some lovely stories in there. Thanks again !!! :)

YES PETRA, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I JUST CANNOT MAKE MYSELF SIT DOWN AT AN MB CONCERT!!!!!
XOXO SANDY IN MS
Hallo Sandy,
I also believe for Michael it is not nice if his fans on the chair stick. I think, Michael also loves it if the fans freak out!
I never was on a concert. It is only one appraisal of me! What is your opinion?
