Miscellany but exceptionally relevant information about, or from Michael on, MB.
Thought I would start this thread for there does appear, at times, to be different relevant articles, tweets, retweets, pictures etc relating to Michael but not really fitting into an already recognized thread nor, each of them individually, being able to be grouped together where a relevant thread could be started and so decided on this "Miscellany" thread.
I hope you agree with its relevance and that you enjoy everything that is put in as well as hoping that many will find interesting tidbits about Michael that can be included and help to make this, whilst a serious sharing of information, a FUN page to be able to visit too and, as is my intention, somewhere that everything which does not have a particular "home" can be placed, so that is all grouped together and can be easily found and located if someone wants to look at.
Here now, so that we can all focus on the main reason for this thread, is a beautiful picture of the "Theme" of the thread.......wonder if MB has ever been called that before ???? LOL.
Believe this one definitely belongs in here for I would say sharing with us that coconut sorbet is his favourite dessert is both miscellaneous and more than extremely relevant to the "THEME" of this website and in particular, to this thread !! LOL.

Regarding Tim Zeller question about the Bolton Bombers shirt on ebay..............I am not an expert like some of you on the site. I never saw him play ball back in the day but there are photos right on the page and it sure looks like it to me. It is a light gray color and the blue looks a bit off color wise, but that's probably due to one photo being digital & taken inside with a flash and the other taken outside years ago & scanned. You all seem to think this shirt is not one he wore, but I look at the photos and think different.

Certainly looks like a Bolton Bombers Uniform shirt and I missed those pictures with advert and haven't seen any of those they have of Michael in that one. I did notice after them putting about Michael wearing shirt they have put a ? as though they themselves are not sure or as a disclaimer of the fact !!!! I would have to say I have doubts if it is even an original shirt for wondering how blue on sleeve cuff has managed to come out right colour but not lettering and also too the grey looks to me exceptionally similar to the grey one I have and that is not the same colour as Michael is wearing....obviously I will say I could be completely wrong but I for sure would not pay the amount of money being asked without very definite authentication as to what is being said it is. As it is far too expensive for me and they do not ship to the UK don't really see why I am bothering and think I will drop out of this conversation.
All I will say is good luck to anyone buying and if they see this please come on and let us know exactly what you got for your money; if you are pleased, or, otherwise !!!!

That definitely looks like a good match. I am thinking maybe MB posed in that shirt for the baseball cards. I got a set of baseball cards at one of his charity benefit dinners in Beverly Hills, Ca. ages ago. I swear that photo is a flashback from those bb cards. I am going to have to pull out my archives!!! lol Give me some time....lol It is still possible that the shirt is a replica and not an original. For $200 one needs to investigate :) Good luck to the buyer!

Didn't Michael start softball charity games in 93? The 1st one I went to was 9/24/94 in Wilmington, DE. My dear friend & I went together. We didn't have a good seat & all but we had an awesome time. Enough of that.

I was on my phone earlier and forgot to put I was at that game too in Richmond.. I remember the bus and the guys there.. That 's Jerry behind MB. He was a very nice security guy to us back then..Good ol days!! Love all these old softball pics!!! I have some from this game too but they are packed away..MB still wore the knee brace and he had it made to match the uniform.

I'm not sure about whether he wore the shirt on sale at ebay but they have pictures of Michael in a shirt like the one shown. It could have been a shirt sold through the fan club...not positive.
