WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2014 TOUR REVIEW THREAD!! COME ON IN AND JOIN THE FUN!!

Welcome everyone to the 2014 Tour Review Thread.  The upcoming year is going to be exciting with so many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, videos etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and the MBC Charity Event which will most likely be held later in the year too. Michael has multiple projects in the works so we never know what will happen next!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2014 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!! 

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

,Wow girls what terrific pictures and obviously loved the pirate ship but love the fact that you all had pirate hats too for that was wonderful idea and I bet Michael was tickled pink at it for we all know JS still means so much to him......that really was a lovely thing to do for him, super !!! :)   Glad too it all worked out for you in that he did get the pirate ship and just hoping that you all had a hand in getting it to him and I believe that is only the second time he has had picture specifically taken and tweeted it of something from fans, in the last few years, for if memory serves me right last time was when Astrid gave him the Oscar for JS in Dresden or Stuttgart.

So pleased for you all that everything worked out well and thanks so much for the share of photos and as Robin MD says can't place Annette but weren't daughters going with mothers so is that possibly who Annette and other girl is in last photo ???   Great to see the four of you, Terry, Leesa, Lynn and Karen and that you are all looking so well and funnily enough, kind of happy too.....wonder why ????? LOL 

Just quickly for Sylvie and Robin R the photos obviously show all the girls sitting round the table with the exception of Lynn and Leesa who are standing because obviously their seats at table are from where photo is being taken in order to get in whole of table and table looks beautiful for they have it covered in white table cloth and they have all their bottles of drink, snacks, fans and of course the all important pirate ship sitting smack bang in the middle.   You can see that it is outdoors and looks a beautiful night and what you can also see part of is rest of seating for you can see other tables, although not clearly to see how they are dressed, and you can see the tiered seating outwith the table areas which obviously rises as in an amphitheatre which is to the back of where the girls table was but over to left hand side of girls table and behind you can see other tables which are set out in tiered sections and there is one on its own with two other tiers with three tables apiece and could be more areas the same round theatre which obviously are outwith photo but it really does look a beautiful and certainly, for us in the UK, a totally different type of venue for concert  although believe have seen something similar out in CA; whatever, it looks terrific !!! :)

Sylvia, Annette is a BB and Leesa's best friend. The beautiful young lady in front of me is my middle baby Alyssa. My 6th grandson enjoyed the concert too, though he's not due to be born until October :)

Hi Ladies and Gents, Guess it's time for me to attempt my version of #Georgia on my Mind, or more like my #BackNine, thought I was going to retire, myself from all this excitement to my weak heart. but, I had my medical team ie, Bolton babes to Pump me up, Again
So, 6 months of planning, in my mind, last MB show, we thought for the year, for awhile,,My Biggest birthday, which I never like to share, hehe, and traveling to see each other. Everybody met up at the hotel, the day before Saturdays show, just to mention a few Lynn Arnold from Ga and her daughter Allysa, myself from NC, Terry Simms from FL, Leesa Gamble from KY and her friend Annette Ruffin from KY and in spirit (Sandra/Ms, Keri/TN,Shannon/IL,TinaPapa/Conn,RobinRehder/Vegas, Eileen/NY) and all our Bolton Babes from MBs world. We conveniently arrived lol the same time all of the MB Crew. Nice. Our first evening went just as planned, caught up with everyone and had dinner and all met back in the lobby/bar at the hotel with music and chatted with some of the boys in the band. Saturday, we spent sometime at the pool, golf carts were fun, and checking out the venue and golf course within distance, oh yea, you know what I mean, And we did a little shopping!! Always fun. Weather was beautiful and we set out for the ParttyattheFred. It was an outdoor venue, so we brought our Pirate PartyTheme Table and of course, our Table topper The Capt Jack Sparrow Pirate Ship. Some of you know me, I didn't want this to be about my Bday, or Me Age, lol, so I made it about Capt Jack and seeing if we could prompt the Guys to sing a little, Here is the Tale. We had tables surrounding us, that wanted to join in and help. A little "Fireball" ,here in the US is a little shot of Cinnamon Bourbon, to go round, helped us to get in the mood, as if we BBs, needed any. Michaels set list was identical to the last few reported shows, however, No Capt Jack snippet. According to others, I honestly think the heat and humidity was a factor and timing. My girls at the table know me so well, that they hand me birthday cards like 10 minutes before the show ends. I say they know me so well, I'm thinking WTH? You want me to open this NOW? MBs in front and you want me to open my cards? Well, inside my card, they surprised me with a Meet and Greet. NO REAL TIME TO PANIC, or back out, or panic attacks, which I do, btw. My girls were my angels. Thank you So Much from the bottom of my heart! Oh, By the way, back to the good part,,, back at the table, the centerpiece, the SHIP, I had arranged with security to place the Ship on the edge of the stage, we couldn't see Michael, over the centerpiece anyway during the show, as planned, so I waited til it got Dark, turned on the tea lights so it could set Sail off on its journey,, it stood out in the dark with its lights and MBs picture lit up at the top, he definitely saw it, and smiled and his bodyguard dude, asked me if he could give it to Michael, I said That's the plan! The show ends, I'm escorted by my little bodyguard BBs to the Plank, where there awaits MB, and low and behold The Pirate Ship. BTW, it was filled with Hershey Kisses and M&M candy to cure any mates hunger, lol Needless to say, he enjoyed the thought. I enjoyed the laughter and birthday attention backstage and his endearing graciousness and awesomeness. Did he Not sing Capt Jack????? I Believe he did Sing Capt Jack and HB.
I wish there was more that I could tell you, however, my memory has escaped me for now, as planned! Lastly, Thank you Micheal for the Wonderful, memorable love and friendships you have given me through the last 25 yrs, the bond that has kept us together and the MB Charities that has profoundly made an impact to us ALL, I honor YOU Michael, your soul, Protect Your Heart, for we would be lost without you,,, LOVE <3 This Bolton Babe, Karen

Now it's ok. Karen, I love your review. Honey, I felt like I was there. Your description was oh! so! good! & you write so well. That was so cool about your M&G & I love being a part of it to see that you would be able to go backstage. After all, your birthday is a special one this year; a mile stone, my friend. I especially felt like I was backstage watching everything going on. True, he didn't do JS, but you got your JS theme indirectly. :))))))) thanks once again for your review & I wish you well should you go to durham.

Hey Karen, sounds like you had a really great birthday and wonderful time at the concert!  I was with ya every minute!!  They did right by not giving you the meet and greet until the end, I know you would have paniced and backed out!!!! if you knew earlier!! So it all sounds like it all worked out great!!!! Thanks for the review and looks like some coming up next year that might work out to meet up!!!

  I couldn't be happier that one of my besties finally got her turn to meet Michael & make for one of the most memorable nights of her life!! I know what it is to want it to happen for so very long,I hope that all who have the passion & enthusiasm for MB & his music at some point in time get their once in a lifetime memory! Karen,it makes me smile just writing this thinking about your nervousness & excitement,so glad I was there to witness it all!! You did good! :) <3

Hi Guys, wanted to come back in here and edit my post just a little. So, apparently so far, a few of you think Michael may have sung the two songs to me at the M&G, well, IN MY DREAMS, there was no time for that. I apologize for the mishap of words. we definitely joked around and he mentioned I was the Birthday Girl So, I told him, we're are not going to talk age, unless he accepts I'm 25, much like himself. love to hear this man giggle. So, correction, I FELT like I got my Capt Jack, Thank You
