Miscellany but exceptionally relevant information about, or from Michael on, MB.

Thought I would start this thread for there does appear, at times, to be different relevant articles, tweets, retweets, pictures etc relating to Michael but not really fitting into an already recognized thread nor, each of them individually, being able to be grouped together where a relevant thread could be started and so decided on this "Miscellany" thread.

I hope you agree with its relevance and that you enjoy everything that is put in as well as hoping that many will find interesting tidbits about Michael that can be included and help to make this, whilst a serious sharing of information, a FUN page to be able to visit too and, as is my intention, somewhere that everything which does not have a particular "home" can be placed, so that is all grouped together and can be easily found and located if someone wants to look at.

Here now, so that we can all focus on the main reason for this thread, is a beautiful picture of the "Theme" of the thread.......wonder if MB has ever been called that before ???? LOL.

Believe this one definitely belongs in here for I would say sharing with us that coconut sorbet is his favourite dessert is both miscellaneous and more than extremely relevant to the "THEME" of this website and in particular, to this thread  !! LOL.

Hope everyone enjoys content and feels free to add their very own miscellany !!! :)

Has this guy had a big hit out of it or is it new? You know, despite my view, I'd like to see him have a big hit & that would be a plus for Michael as well.

Don't see why you would think anyone would "bash" you on here for having an opinion Robin for I don't believe anyone ever did in the past so what would make you think now .....just wondering ???

On Romain Virgo he is a huge hit in Jamaica and the reggae music scene and link is into a little bit about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romain_Virgo    Obviously, if you don't particularly like reggae then you won't like but for me, I love that type of music and was a huge fan of Bob Marley and still am, for loved the message he tried to get across because I was, and am, very much into love and peace, not war or dissention of any kind .....too many people are in this world and that is what is wrong with it !!!   "Let's all go to San Francisco and wear flowers in our hair".....bring back the hippies;  peace and love man, peace and love !!!

BTW it is on an album he has released and do believe it is doing rather well.....haven't checked the charts yet though !!! :)

I love reggae version of Soul Provider Sylvia. I agree with the Love and Peace idea.

Hi Cynthia, good to read you here! I remember you had bought Orrin's CD, so I was pretty sure you enjoyed reggae. Hope you're having a nice summer so far. Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Hi Cynthia and a pity nowadays there isn't more of it about and certainly not more of the sentiment for we sure need something on this old planet of ours.....hopefully, one day, might just happen !!! :)

Thanks Sally....what a GREAT cover of Soul Provider!!! I loved it and wonder what Michael and Orrin think of the song??? :)

Kathy and LAFD Bob

Thanks Sally,

Love this version of Soul Provider.  I hope Romain has a very successful career.  So refreshing to read about someone like him that came from a very poor background and discovered his talent early on and is trying to use it to get good messages across to others that might be in the same situation as he was growing up. Great start to my day today!!!!

SANDY IN MS XOXO

I like his take also. Your welcome Sandy.

Wow, that's great. I was in Jamaica in April at Doctor's Cave Beach and heard someone playing a reggae version of Soul Provider. I went running over to my husband telling him to listen...when he finally figures out what it was he just starts laughing...saying "leave it to you to hear a MB song on the beach in Jamaica"...It was coming from the adjacent property so I couldn't see who it was tho. Too funny.

Lynn

Thanks for all of the photos and articles, ladies :). Hugs,

Kathy T. :)

I thought of Orrin when I heard Romain's version of Soul Provider. he's really ingoray gay (pardon spelling) didn't look @ the spelling right. I'm for peace & love myself. So sad the vilence of today but I don't want to get controvercialout here.

Thanks for posting this Gail. The young man chose a great song as all we MB fans know and he has quite a nice voice too. Hugs,

Kathy T. :)
