Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2015!! Let the year long concert party begin!!

I was sorry to hear that the Lancaster show was cancelled or postponed. Hope our babe is ok. :(((((((

Hi everyone! Trying to catch up on here, so sorry MB is sick and the Lancaster PA show got canceled! Guess he is better as the next show is still on I think. I wanted to just start with the set list and talk about the songs, My review is in notes, not done yet. And I just downloaded my pictures, but they are not good. I only brought my camera phone, it's the new Samsung Galaxy s5. The camera is 16 pixels, it's amazing! So I was hoping for great shots, not! It is not good in low light with moving subjects. Or even standing still ones. Part of it is the light, Michael's face just got washed out and white with the lights on him.  So that was pretty disappointing for me. But the entire weekend was amazing so I don't care that I didn't get many photos.

At the Atlantic City, NJ show (3/6) I had a small pad and I actually wrote down every song! Didn't do that at Red Bank, NJ show (3/8) We got 3 set lists from Red Bank! So almost all of us had their own. This was exactly what was done at AC:

Opening: Go The Distance
To Love Somebody
Dock of the Bay
Said I Loved You But I Lied
You Don't Know Me
Sweet Home Chicago
You and I (JP Sax Solo)
Band Solos-all the guys play a solo
**************************************************
(MB changes and comes back in a gray suit! That's different, black shirt, no tie)
Duets with Amanda Brown:
To Make You Feel My Love
How Am I Supposed To Live Without You
Ain't No Mountain High Enough
The Prayer
Nessun Dorma
(MB leaves to change again)
**************************************************
Amanda does a solo medley of:
That's What Love Is All About
Missing You Now
Back On My Feet Again
****************************************************
You Are So Beautiful (JP Sax Solo and Brian Becvar on Piano)
(Michael pops up way over in the left aisle)
When A Man Loves A Woman
How Can We Be Lovers
Time Love & Tenderness

Encore song:
Lean On Me

He did sing Soul Provider in Red Bank, not in AC.
Love Is A Wonderful Thing was not done in AC, Sally said it was in Red Bank, maybe I don't think so, but maybe it was!!
Steel Bars not done at either show :(
It was great to hear Lean on Me, has he been doing that one? I don't remember hearing it at shows I've been to. One other thing I noticed, when he sang Dock of the Bay, he sang " I left my home in Georgia, Headed for the Jersey Bay" we all liked that a lot, everyone cheered! He sang every song at both shows great, and he was very upbeat and funny. He kept commenting at Red Bank how enthusiastic and noisey we were! But you could tell him & the band were lovin' us lovin' them!

Be back with more soon!

Hi Joy,

Thank you for the shortie review for now ;). Sorry your photos did not turn out....I have a Samsung too and I know what you mean about low light photos and distortions.
So happy you had a great time and looking forward to reading more about your fantastic MB adventure. Enjoy your cloud and that is a beautiful one, Sylvia :). Hugs,

Kathy T. :)

Hey Joy, thanks for the great preview! Girl, it sounds like you'll burst if you don't have time to write the full one... XD BTW, if I'm not mistaken, I think Kathy R said Michael sang "Lean on me" in Friant. Aside from the encore, you got the same setlist I did. Can't wait to hear more and wow, thanks for taking notes! :D Take good care Joy, we'll wait patiently for your full review/s. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Thanks for posting Joy. Sorry your pics didn't turn out, I don't have any luck with that on my Samsung either so I use my camera. My next phone I'm going to ask about pics in low light etc. I see folks getting them on phones at the shows but not sure what type of phones they use that take good ones.

If you got Soul Provider as an opening song, lucky you. So far he started with To Love Somebody at the two I saw and he sang Lean On Me in Durham as the encore and Georgia as the encore in Greensburg.

Your setlists are the same as the two I have from the two shows I've seen so far.  They don't know what the encore will be till MB decides it.   I am hoping for an opening with LIAWT like years ago since it's on there or SP again. I like that kind of opening number better, it's more energetic and gets the audience going! Just my two cents.

Sounds like a wonderful time for you.  I am looking forward to reading the rest of your review!!!

Thanks for taking time to come back in and posting, I know you are busy.

Robin in MD :)

I am praying MB has recovered from his illness and is ready to go tonight in Turning Stone.

The next concert after that one is on Saturday, March 31, 2015 at Seneca Niagara Casino Theatre, Niagara Falls, NY

Please feel free to come on in and share your concert experience with all of us here.  Crossing fingers MB is back on the road and feeling great!!!!

Robin in MD :)

Hi Robin in MD, I agree about your 2 cents. There's nothing wrong with TLS for the first song, but the more energetic songs give a different tone to the show. Take care Robin. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

When i listen to the CDs in the car to and from the venue, I start to get confused on what I heard and thought I heard. Lol. I'll have to write it down next time. I swear I heard it, but it's highly possible I am confused!

Joy, Michael did Lean on me in 94,95, & 96, I do recall. Thanks for your neat review & come back for more when you can. I hope he can perform tonight as I know some folks who are going. Or are there. :)

Sorry about your photos didn't turn out but the memory is there for you. I understand.
