Welcome everyone to the 2015 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!! Those of you attending some of the Florida concerts in January,  2015 may see the upcoming Dreamjobbing winner performing as a backup singer for Michael!!  Feel free to share the details of your concert adventures, photos, etc.  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2015 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time in 2015!! Let the year long concert party begin!!

Hi everyone!

Hi Alice,

Here is a Cloud 9 for you! You deserve it for your first MB concert!

So exciting isn't it? When I go to his shows, I keep playing the songs from the shows, and I feel like I'm up

on Cloud 9 for days.................

Hello everyone, a little review about Montgomery last night. Venue was beautiful, very small. It's set in a beautiful park and I saw a gorgeous rainbow as I was going to pick up my ticket. The beauty of the park was not reflected in the attitude of a few of the employees though. I think because it was the big gala benefit that they were on edge trying to pull off the perfect show or something. Anyway, back to the good part :) :). As I walked around the venue I spotted Gwenda! I went up and asked her if she was the one that won, and she said "Yes, how did you know?" I told her she is famous in the BB world :):). We had a great time hanging out, talking and laughing and got fortunate enough to sit together and get to move up to 5th row for the second part of show, in a box that was elevated so that it was just above stage level, great seats and we had a wonderful time. Michael was looking and sounding wonderful. It seemed like a short show, and I know we all want them to go on forever but I think this one really was short. A lot of the same concert as the recent ones. Opened with To love somebody, encore was Ga. Did Nessun Dorma. After WAMLAW only did TLT then encore. I did get my Sweet Home Chicago :) but I sure miss Rock Me. Didn't get to go to the stage at all. Did get to stand up and dance after we moved because no one was behind us. No opportunity to wait for him outside as we couldn't see where he would come out. Had a great time but I'm with Alice, I probably wouldn't go back to this venue again.

Lynn

Hey Lynn, I am glad you met Gwenda!!! AWWWW And also glad you got to move up some in better seats. Bummer the show was shorter this time around. Maybe because it was part of that special event?

I love Sweet Home Chicago too girl!! He rocks out on that one!!LOL

Thanks for posting Lynn!

Hi Lynn and thanks so much for popping in with review and so glad you did meet up with Gwenda, that was lovely !!! :)  Sorry show shorter and security guards on their toes but as you say may have had something to do with trying to pull off the perfect event within the Festival for it is just the second year of them doing this to raise funds to "Benefit The Bard".  Glad though to hear Michael was on top form and I bet hearing Nessun Dorma in such a theatre was pretty terrific.

Thanks again Lynn and so glad you had good time !!! :)

Thanks for sharing, Lynn. I am sure you had a wonderful evening even though not everything was quite as you had hoped and expected it to be. I hope Kansas City will work out great for you, Lynn. I thought about going myself but I hope to be able to go to Oaklawn instead and those 2 are back to back. It is very nice you were able to meet Gwenda and you two paired up and had fun :). Hugs,

Kathy T. :)

Hi Lynn and thanks for sharing your fun review. Thanks for the tip about "Nessun dorma", much appreciated. Take good care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D

Hi Lynn& Alice. Thanks girls for your reviews. I figured it was a charity event. It was TOO QUIET but man, Alice, To Love Somebody turned out fantastically. Though I couldn't see the video, it sure did sound good. Loved it. Lynn, at least you moved up. I'm sorry about the rude staff. Cannot stand rudeness. :(

My friend Melinda and I just enjoyed Michael's concert at the Meridian Mississippi Opera House. The venue is a beautifully restored Mid-1800s opera house. Acoustics and Michael's voice combined were phenomenal! The crowd, while not as loud as a casino crowd, was very responsive and appreciative. They laughed Michael's jokes, gave him a standing ovation for The Prayer and Nessum Dorma and laughed and sang along with all the favorites. He started out with Soul Provider and continued with To Love Somebody and Dock of the Bay. He sang Said I Loved You But I Lied, You Don't Know Me, and added a new song, That's Life, from his most recent concerts. He did duets with Amanda Brown, did WAMLAW in the audience and smiled and waved at us during the song. He closed with HCWBL and Steel Bars. Encore was Georgia. It was a wonderful evening and great concert. Michael's voice was perfect pitch!

Michael never disappoints and Meridian was a beautiful example of just how much he continues to love what he does!!! Keep it coming!!!
