Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread!   The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!!  This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.

Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

I have to say I Love Michael. I've been to several concerts. My son & daughter-in-law gave me a ticket for his Feb 13th Fallsview Concert in Niagara Falls, Canada, as my Xmas gift this past year. The best present I've ever gotten. Haha. I was thrilled because it was a 3rd row seat!!!!!!!!!!! I'd never been so close before. Needless to say it was awesome to feel so up close & personal. However, I was disappointed in the concert. It was good. Just not the best. It seemed he was off key a few times, forgot the words or maybe changed them on one song. And it felt like he wasn't his usual self. I don't know if maybe he was sick?? It felt rushed & like songs were cut short? I thought it ended too soon too. An hour & a half including his guest?? I thought I remembered 2 hours of just him other times? Plus even though I liked the girls voice who sang with him, it felt too much with their duet & then her solo. I was there to see Michael. I don't know--I was just disappointed. It was still enjoyable & quite good. I've just never been disappointed before.

Thanks for coming in with review Gloria and so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with show.  Suppose it is same as with majority of things in life that as time goes on it all changes and think too Michael's age does have to be taken into account.....he isn't getting any younger !!! :)

Thanks again for coming in !!! :)

Sylvia Doughty, I actually think my disappointment lies in myself. In that I was so excited for months before---3rd row seats, seat 3 and 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was beside myself, oh my god, I'd never been so close before. Note to self---make sure you get up and go to the stage when others do. But I decided in that moment not to disturb the other people in my row. Very Canadian of me, always polite. Haha. Then Michael was in my aisle and I wanted to get up and stand in the aisle to listen to him and possibly shake his hand. But again I chickened out. So I'm disappointed that I allowed myself to miss out on what was a great opportunity to get even closer to Michael. A missed opportunity for sure. Being of similar age to Michael, I do realize that he needs to slow down and therefore fills some of the time with another talent. All in all considering, I did thoroughly enjoy myself. I have some pictures that I took of being there rather than only other peoples. I don't have one of him and I, very sad, but I have great memories. Michael can still put on a great show and I hope he continues to do so for quite a few years to come. Who knows maybe I'll get the opportunity again to be so close.

Hi Gloria and sorry so long for me to pick up your post....sorry !!! :(  Understand exactly what you are saying for I certainly felt like that at times in 2014 and coming away and saying: I should have done that; I should have said that.  Believe it is that times goes so fast and you know it is in all probability the only chance you will have and you feel you have wasted it but believe you really have to look on the positive and focus on what you got out of it rather than what you didn't.  I can assure you I am hoping I will be a bit more confident, than in 2014, and might just do and say some of the things I wished I had when next month comes along.

Take care Gloria and I hope you do get the opportunity to be as close to Michael again in the not too distant future.

Gloria, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry shyness fell upon but I understand. I'm sure there will be another time. The memory is always there; sorry you don't have pictures.

I know 2 BB'S that went to the show in Mississippi. Hope they'll come out with reviews. From speaking with them on the phone, they had an awesome time. :) I'll let them share their reviews. :)

Quite a few people, known to us, at show last night and do hope some come in with reviews ..... not pointing the finger at anyone in particular but hey, Chip Adams, are you about and willing to let us in on how last night's concert went.  No matter Chip, I do hope you and your wife had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of the show and hope too it won't be too long till you get chance of another one !!! :)

Here are a couple of pics of Michael on stage last night and they come courtesy of NolaRunGirl:

This pic comes courtesy of Elizabeth Gray who, with her friends, met Michael in an elevator at Casino and he agreed for pic to be taken.  Michael is casually dressed with cap, t-shirt and scarf so not too sure if before, or after, concert but it is a super pic.

Final pic comes courtesy of Beau Rivage itself and shows Michael on stage sitting on the infamous stool singing and playing guitar and you can  see Brian Becvar on piano.

Got my ticket for Brighton in the post today. I first saw Michael live in concert nearly 23 years ago at Wembley. There's been a veritable flood of real life under the bridge for me, but I still remember it so clearly, and all the moments since when I've been privileged to spend some time with him, hearing him sing. And now it's close to happening again, and the excitement is just the same. I don't really know why, not going to analyse it, just relish it.
