Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread! The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!! This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

I'm sure tonight's show was awesome. I'll bet Charlotte did a good job as well. Thanks to everyone for all of their reviews.
Sylvia, thanks ever so much for your reviews from Glazco. You guys are really having an awesome time on this tour. Be safe traveling to London for the RAH show.
Hi everyone and what a NIGHT !!!! lol
To start off wondered what on earth the weather was going to do tonight because during day we had sun shine, hail storm, thunder and lightning, blowing a gale and freezing cold but tonight it played fair and although freezing cold and a bit of wind it was a pleasant walk to theatre. It was still dry when show finished but freezing and wind, in places, would have cut you in two.
Concert was an absolute blast from start to finish it was fantastic.....BEST one yet !!! :) Audience were awesome and started the minute Michael walked on stage and Michael didn't half feed off it for he was phenomenal and the banter with audience was terrific too. "Nessun Dorma" was BEST I've heard, oh it was just BEAUTIFUL, exquisite ..... don't know about roof coming off but know, for sure, those rafters were singing. Set list was same as before.
Charlotte was superb and looked as though she had been doing it for years....she had the moves to perfection and could take over being backing singer without any problem. When Michael introduced the band members I was ready to shout for Charlotte when he got to her....no need....the crowd roared and apart from usual outstanding applause for Jason, Charlotte definitely came in second !!! :) It was great to see her and see her enjoying herself so much.
After show decided I was going to stage door but in knowing Michael was doing M&G's took my time getting there and thank goodness I did for it was perishing and it seemed, no matter where you stood, the wind was following you !!!! LOL I went down to where tour bus was parked as hoped to see Jason but didn't but Drew came up from bus to go into theatre and stopped and we spoke and I couldn't believe it when he thanked me again for his birthday present. At beginning there was myself, a couple and two girls at stage door but the two girls left, they were just too cold and not hardy enough (LOL) and got chatting to the couple and it turned out they were Don and June and it was super sharing the time waiting for Michael with them, absolutely super !!! :) We had a good laugh especially the three of us waiting for Michael and freezing to death in the process...we couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous we were being and we had spotted people at a window in flats across from theatre and then when we noticed they even got fed up waiting and their lights went out and they went to bed and we were still standing....OMG, talk about doubled up in laughter. Eventually things started moving and some of the crew came out because it looked as though they are all staying in Southend tonight and we spoke to him and he told us they were having a birthday celebration after Michael had done M&G's as it was Milo's birthday which was super to know because once Michael's car got into position Milo came out to make sure everything okay so we were able to wish him a Happy Birthday which was lovely. THEN ..... Michael appeared and he got into car but he rolled window down and each of us was able to go and shake his hand and speak to him and it was as good as any M&G. I got to thank him for wonderful concert, thanked him for Nessun Dorma and told him he had nailed it, that it was just beautiful and also said would see him in London and thanked him again. Then said goodbyes to Don and June and headed to my little guesthouse where, when I got in, couldn't believe it was 12.15, show had finished at 10.15.....definitely a true saying, the older you get the dafter you get !!!!!!! LOL
BTW my pics are rubbish and batteries started running down half way through and by time of final bow, gone completely and I didn't event get Charlotte and tonight she was standing beside Michael. Also Michael brought Gabrielle back out to stage to take final bow and although know he has done at other concerts that is first one I've been to where he has done that.....she was great and crowd loved her.
Have put more pics in UK 2016 Tour album, from tonight and here is one Gabrielle shared of herself and Michael.

Thanks for posting Sylvia. I know June and Don and they are lovely people. They used to come over here for the MBC Gala weekends and I sold them extra tickets I had too one time. I am glad they got a chance to talk to MB and see him too. I know we've stood out in cold weather too girl, only us die-hards do that. I am glad they celebrated Milo's birthday. He's such a sweetheart. We got to talk to MB at the car like that in Lancaster last summer, it was so much fun. It's nice when MB has the time to talk to the fans with his busy schedule.
I enjoy your other posts too, just we've had our hands full with some family issues with one set of parents and seems I'm going in five directions at once. I am reading and if I don't post as much it's not that I'm ignoring anything, just LIFE is getting in the way of me taking more time on here.
Enjoy the show at RAH, I know you and Kathy both will.
Robin in MD :)
Thanks Robin and hope family issues all resolve themselves....sure know what it is like to wonder which way is up. Thinking of you !!! :) Having either nearly a hour, or over it, with Don and June had plenty to talk about for we just clicked and had so much fun I ended up feeling as though I were meeting up with very, very dear old friends... it was lovely !!! :)
Hi Usha and thanks for taking time to come in and thanks for lovely comment. Obviously, hope everything goes well with surgery and YES stay off of this thing until well on the mend.
As for memories, there sure have been some created this tour....wonderful, wonderful ones and not least last night's for being able to talk to and personally thank Michael WHILST holding his hand the whole time was beyond wonderful....you don't get to do that at a M&G !!! lol I sure feel that I've made up for all the "lost" years this time and it feels pretty good, to say the least !!!
Onto to RAH and going out now to locate train station and times of trains to take me up to London tomorrow .... can't wait to be on that leg of this Bolton Adventure !!! LOL
BTW, in thinking about review, I forgot to mention that as soon as in theatre remembered that it is one where you don't get to go stage because front row is practically on stage but after WAMLAW everyone stood and we all remained standing, cheering, applauding and singing till bitter end. Michael didn't shake hands with people although he was given a tremendous amount of flowers so was busy bending down collecting them almost as much as he does for handshakes....well, maybe a little exaggeration, but he sure was busy collecting them all and it was so lovely to see.

Oh! Wow! What we do to get a glimpse of MB. I'm glad you enjoyed last night's show Sylvia & you got to speak with Michael afterwards despite the cold. I'm glad Charlotte was a great success as well. Usha, I wish you well with your eye surgeries honey.
Hi Sylvia and thanks for your review. If we read your reviews back to back, it would sound like Michael was building up to blow off the roof of the RAH tomorrow! :D When you say the setlist was the same, does that mean Michael is including “Stand by me” in all shows now? Just checking. It’s nice to know Charlotte felt at home on stage: this is her dream job after all! I’m really happy for you that your patience was rewarded Sylvia and lucky for you that June and Don Allen were there to help you wait, they are really nice. Thanks again for your report Sylvia and good luck with everything tomorrow, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
