Welcome everyone to the 2016 Tour Review Thread! The upcoming year is going to be exciting with many concerts scheduled already around the globe!!!MB has some Canada and USA shows in February and March 2016 and then he heads to the UK in April 2016!!! This is the best time to be a Bolton fan with so many concerts and we may have a Michael Bolton Charities event later in the year, we never know. Michael has multiple projects in the works and he is good at keeping us guessing. I appreciate the opportunity to start a new thread once again for 2016 to give us all a place to share the best part of being a fan--- experiencing Michael in person doing what he does best-SING!!!!!!
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing great times by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as I have in the past.
Happy Concert Time again in 2016!! Let the year long concert party begin soon!!

Kathy LAFD, thanks ever so much for your review. I'm sorry about that drunk. I have no tolerance for such inappropriateness. Hope I didn't create a new word. Yeah, "That's Life" though I'd love to hear Michael do "My Way" which was written by Paul Anka & though Frank had a big hit out of it, others did too so, not a bad song for Michael to do. :) I'm sorry you couldn't go up to the stage & all that. I hear you avoiding this venue & the one in Coachella. That's cool not remembering the whole setlist. Neato about Christopher Cross though. Would have been neat if they did a song together. Thanks once again for your review. At Palms Casino, Michael did acknowledge "Cinnama Songs" but just mentioned "I Gotta Woman" from Ray, the movie.
Hi Robin....do you remember MB saying anything remotely similar to "this will be the last time you will be hearing these songs" and then he went into the news about Songs of Cinema? I am sure I will see you on Oct 1st for Michael's Vegas concert!! Woohoo!!! Cant wait!!
Kathy and LAFD Bob
Yes, Kathy LAFD, I'll be in Vegas. Hope to meet up with you there & several others I know are going.
Hey Kathy, good to read you on here, thanks for your review. It’s nice to hear Christopher Cross still puts on a good show. Well maybe Michael meant his remark about the setlist as a general statement. I’m supposing he possibly meant songs like “Ain’t no mountain high enough” would be out for instance and we do know about the upcoming new version of WAMLAW, just to mention a couple. I doubt Michael would remove “the hits”. As far as “Nessun dorma”, we’ve gotten used to Michael singing it, but as I’m sure everyone is tired of me saying it, he’s phasing it out, replacing it with “The prayer”. As Sylvia pointed out about “My way”, I’m assuming you may have meant “That’s life”. Even partial, it’s nice that you try and report the playlist Kathy and I do appreciate it. :D Thanks again for your review sweetie and here’s to the next one! Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
Hi Sylvie...and yes you are correct...it was That's Life :) I need to bring a pen and paper to record the song list...lol When I say he will "retire" some songs I don't mean the classics but probably some of the Sinatra songs or Motown etc. Not his own personal hits...he will always include those!! Or we fans will revolt...lol And yes Sylvie...on to the next series of concerts. I believe MB is in your country...your very BIG country...soon :) I still have Canada on my list ;)
Kathy and LAFD Bob
Hi again Kathy, frankly girl, you don’t need to bring a pen and paper to spoil your fun and we know you’re doing the best you can. Besides, teasing you about it is part of the fun! lol But seriously, some people are better at remembering, but you know, the bottom line is we just want to know if Michael sang something different, or whether there was a big reaction to a song etc: you know, what made the concert special. Well, next time you see Michael, if you could let him or his tour manager know that Canada has more than 2 provinces, that would be great! :D Take good care sweetie and looking forward to read your next review already. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie Qc Canada :D
P.S.: Speaking of setlists, maybe in the future, you could use a site Gail posted the link to a couple of days ago:
Hi Sylvie....I will use Kathy's suggestion and take my phone off of camera mode as MB starts each song and I shall text myself each song! Let's see if I remember to do that!!! LOL I will certainly mention Canada when I get the chance. Heaven knows I bugged him enough about Scotland!! As if he listens to me??!!! LOL ;) But he did then appear in Scotland so all is well and of course I still have Canada on my list for placing some of my moms ashes!!! So you ever know!!!! LOL I will have to check out Gail's link! Thanks for the heads up :) I love all the kidding...and I expect it because I am so lousy at setlists!!! lol
Kathy and LAFD Bob
Hi Usha...thanks. Yes Christopher Cross was a most pleasant surprise :) Michael sure knows how to pick the right folks to share the stage with!
Kathy and LAFD Bob
Hey Kathy R. Thanks for posting about this one. Neat you heard soundcheck like that!! Sneak peak! LOL It's hard to remember the songs and that's why I snag a set list and make notes on it before I forget before I do a review if I can! LOL They aren't always right but you can use them as a guide and write down different stuff if necessary to remember. Otherwise at times I'd forget too. LOL I am sorry the set up wasn't good at this one and I have had venues like that. I don't go back to them back here either. High stages far away take away from the atmosphere of being down front and the interaction isn't the same, I totally agree. And the drunken lady, OMG I hate that too at some of these places. So obnoxious and takes away from the fun at times too.
So glad you enjoy the music and I am sure you will have another concert or two or three in the near future. He's booking shows all the time.
Thanks for sharing your night with us!!
Robin in MD :) catching up :)
