Chelsie's tweet said she was flying out for Michael's concert tonight. I know thats not official, but sounds like its on
I guess MB wasn't up to it and a decision was made after Chelsie tweeted Payten. I feel BAD for MB most of all, he never likes to ever cancel a show and disappoint fans however, him hurting himself more isn't worth it and people don't want to come to hear him less than 100% either, that's cheating his fans even more than canceling and rescheduling. No matter what he does someone is going to be upset. He's human, he cannot help he got sick. I cannot remember him cancelling shows for a very, very long time. This is very unusual for MB.. I wish him well very soon. No one wants a concert cancelled but if he cannot sing, he cannot sing. :(

My opinion is MB has to much on his plate and its caught up to him burning the candle at both ends.Dancing and singing at the same time leads to lip synching.
I agree with you robin. In the last 18 years &I've been doing this rodio 18 years now) that he rarely cancels. I can understand people being upset. I really can but people do get sick. Hope he's able to do the gala tomorrow. Poor thing.

Well I just got off the Gold country casino website and the MB show is cancelled. Why do all the people involved that put on these shows wait till the last moment to cancel shows. Why didn't they cancel this show days ago to give people a chance to change their plans a save them some wasted time and money.MB has had a severe throat condition since tuesday? As I stated in my previous post why would he want to perform at less than 100%.and cheat the fans.
I got a cold in 2005&wwitin 18 hours, I had pneuamonia. Sickness is an inconvenience. I understand the upsets though but people do get sick. Give him a break.

Just my opinion here...my husband works for Ticketmaster (LiveNations) and they are always getting cancellations from the stars, you have to remember things happen just like us when we get sick. In no means do they plan this and most of the time the star tries to wait in the event that they may be feel better. I don't call my boss at the very second I'm sick, I know I try to see if I'll recover and sometimes a nights rest will do the trick, but then again...I know it must have been inconvience to ticket holders but the promoter, venue, workers, and everyone else involved in putting the show together is also effected. I think this is why they wait until the least possible minute to cancel, look at all the other people they have to consider. Just something to ponder...
There IS a post on this site in this section on the thread Tour Dates Added that had the cancellation information for Gallo Center.
Thank you for clarifying this for us Robin. It is greatly appreciated.

Yes ,here is the post .

It is with a very heavy heart that I have had to cancel my shows in
Modesto and Oroville due to laryngitis. The thought of disappointing
my incredible fans is the most agonizing thing in the world to me, but
I have been advised by my physician.... that performing could put me
at serious risk for further injury to my voice. I just cannot afford
to take that chance. We are already working to reschedule the shows as
soon as possible.
Well, here I am at last. It took a week. My 2 friends&I went to Michael's concert&we waited in a long line at the Will Call Office but it was better the ticket be there than to lose it in the mail. I ran in to 2 BB'S, Jody from England&Jan from Canada. Never met her. Anyway, I had front row, section 5, seat 8. Folks around me seemed neat. His show was awesome&it was neat Chelsie spoke as well. A bunch of us did go up to the stage&I held his hand. Loved it. It seemed longer than 90 minutes&that was really neat. Hated for the show to end. It was more lively&the entusiasm ran plentiful that hight; more than in Cerritos. People there were too! calm!

Sounds like you had a really 'neat' time Robin.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed yourself and had a really great time.

It's great that you met with some other fans too from the UK and Canada too.

Thank you for your review.
