HA!!! My Tom went to a concert of Michael's back in the 90's with a few people, and ever since then he has not really listened to his music. That is until he started dating me,(he has always told me and other people that he thinks his music is alright but not a fan), as I am always playing his cd's in the car and in the house. He finaly admits to me and on FB that he is a truly a fan and loves his music so after all this time an "in the closet" MB Fan and I finaly drag it out of him, haha!!! Ok so lets break out the Champaigne and strawberries and celebrate!!!!! CHEERS!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! Love, Shannon xoo

Congratulations Shannon isn't it lovely I never thought I could convert Bill and we've been together since we were 18 and now he thinks Michael is just as great as I do :) Well probably not as much but he does think he's very good!

I find that if a lot of people actually sit down and take the time to listen to MB, they will find that past the media portrayal is a guy who is one of the greatest singers to come along, a true songwriter and what people don't know, a fine musician. I hate the latest label the media seem to have given him, 'crooner' as he's far from that.
Does anyone remember the Jonathan Ross interview in the mid 90's (promoting Timeless) and Jonathan said as much as this. He met MB at a Softball game. Have it on VHS somewhere.
Taking my fiancee to her first MB concert on Sunday in Cardiff!! Will let you all know what Jen thinks!!

Hi James, I could not agree with you more. For the longest time, Michael has been fighting people’s pre-conceived 2-dimensional perceptions of him. There’s just too much information, too much music being thrown around every day and the quality products sometimes get lost in the shuffle. Sorry to get on my soap-box here but, why do you think people are surprised he had a rock career before TLT? Ah sweetie, sadly, the crooner label has been following him for too long, but Michael is just quietly showing anyone who’ll listen that he’s more than a one-trick pony. I’m sorry James, I haven’t heard of Jonathan Ross, is he from the U.K.? And could you expand some on that interview? All right James, hope your fiancee enjoys the show, I know you will, so do report back! Oh and Shannon, congratulations sweetie : a public announcement from your boyfriend on Facebook, that’s big! Lol My husband does love Michael’s music and it surprised me for a long time that he wanted me to wait to listen to a new CD, so he could listen too.
