Apologies for not being on here much lately
Hello people,
I am so sorry that I havent been on here very much just lately only I have quite a bit of work to prepare for my 'invention'. I have quite a few forms to complete for an international patent application and its really complicated and very long winded.
I am also taking a photography course and it is very time consuming as we have to prepare a portfolio and write ups of our work.
Coupled with the fact that laptop and pc have both decded not to allow me to view RAW files of my photos!! I've downloaded a RAW reader for my laptop (windows vista) but my destop pc which is connected to my printer just wont work no matter which raw file reader I down load. The nof course, the RAW images on my USB pen drive that open on my laptop then wont open on my desktop pc!!
My new USB pen drive also appears to be corrupt and is corrupting any photos and any college work that I type up on my laptop ready to print out on my desktop?
I usually sit on my laptop in the living room with David in the evening and upload my photos, type up my college homework and course notes then put them on my USB pen drive ready to open up on my desktop pc and print out, but its all going so wrong and my college work is coming up as being corrupted!!
It is total nightmare and I am feeling really angry and frustrated by it all because I dont really know what I'm doing or how to sort it out and I know I will ned t oget an engineer in to sort it out for me and that will cost a fortune!!!!
I've also been spending a lot more time with Mum as the pair of us are really feeling 'it' right now with christmas approaching. It wont be the same without Dad here and I'm dreading it.
Anyone fancy coming over and helping me out? Ha Ha!!
Anyway, that where I've been and thats where I'll probably be for a while longer until I canget this sorted!!

Wow Jennifer you are busy!!
About the RAW files, have you installed the software that came with your camera, your SLR should come with RAW editing software for Canon's .CR2 RAW files called DPP (Digital Photo Professional), you can edit and view them, or you can download it from Canon.co.uk. Alternatively if you want a great workflow manager/editing software, I recommend Adobe Lightroom (is the software I use to edit every type of photo file), you can download a 30 day trial from Adobes website to see if you like it and to assess if it is for you. Oh Jennifer...you poor girl. You know that saying "When it rains it pours"...so true! Sounds like a great idea to have Juliet and Oz help you out! I'm also having an issue with my computer at home and need to contact someone to help me out with it....Never a dull moment!
I know how it felt to have my first Christmas without my dad, it's not easy. You and your mum are in my prayers......
Try to take it easy and let the girls help you out... If I could I would help you too!

Anyone and everyone would be most welcome in my house at anytime.
You would be able to stay over if you wanted to. There is a B&B almost literally across the road to me (2 minute walk) and also a lovely old hotel about 5 minutes walk away.

Ha Ha!! No Paul is definately straight, married, but VERY VERY separated and not a cat in hells chance of any reconciliation, what so ever, ever, never in this world.
He really is a genuine all round lovely guy. You would really like him.
