I saw Michael perform live for the very first time. It was my first road trip to CT. We saw him at Woolsey Hall, at Yale University performing with Orchestra New England. He came down the center aisle singing When A Man Loves A Woman. We had balcony seats and we could look over the balcony to see him enter the venue!!! Wow. That was the beginning of an amazing 16 year journey!!!
MB asked me how long it's been last month, he was curious I guess!!LOL
I am curious, when did you guys see MB perform live for the first time?

I have been a fan since early 90s, living away from a highly populated centers never had any info on Michael until our youngest got a computer and I found the Delphi forum and that's when I knew that I had to see him live someday. I discovered our local video store would order in tapes for me so I bought every vhs I knew about. My cousin and very best friend would come for coffee and I 'd say you have to watch this and I put in This is Michael Bolton or a music video and before long I had her hooked. She bought all his Cds and we talked about going to a concert. The nearest Michael came was Montreal or Ottawa which is an expensive trip for a concert because it would be air fare and at least 2 nights in a hotel. As the years past we kept talking about attending a concert even if we had to save and go to Montreal or Ottawa. The n the unthinkable happened and she was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer (a very aggressive form ) during her treatments she would call and say put on the coffee and the vcr it's a Michael afternoon.Sadly she lasted a year and on Feb 14th 2000 she passed away. In my grief I could watch or listen to Michael for years it hurt way to much because it brought back so many memories.Then slowly I started with the cds and began enjoying the music again, The vhs tapes I just couldn't watch. Then one night I was up stairs putting laundry away and my husband called up" They are going to be talking about Michael Bolton on Live at tonight " so I came down figured it was just about the new cd and when they announced the he was playing a concert in Halifax I went nuts ,Hubby said you really want to go? I just looked at him and said what do you think? I'll go but I'll wait in the car he said ..lol. Our daughter in law who knew I want to go so bad said she'd go with me and plans were made. I was on cloud nine and the day of the concert we traveled and spent the day shopping in the city. During the concert our seats were fantastic row 5 ..middle ..I thought of Barb and got a little teary eyed thinking she should be here. March the 19th 2010 the day I saw MB in person but man it's all so unreal even today has I write this I need to pull out my pictures and say I took these I was there ...now he needs to return so I can really take it all in, I swear the high I was on it was like a trance and the night is a blur..hope I didn't ramble to much...

I don't recall the exact date, but the year was 1993. A friend from work and I were going somewhere, and I noticed her Michael Bolton keychain. It turned out she was trying to get together a group to go to his concert in Hershey, PA. Well, I had only heard of Michael vaguely, but next thing I knew. two vanloads of us were headed for Hershey. It started to storm, BADLY,..we made it to the venue, but there was no concert that night. Even so we had a blast, I always refer to it as the best concert I never went to. Those who could returmed the next day for a rare daytime concert. It was AWESOME, and of course I became a Michael fan, and have attended maybe six concerts. In 1994, we actually went to Harrisburg to see the Bolton Bombers play, and then to the concert that night, again at Hershey Arena. Next night we went to Pittsburgh!! So that is the tale of my first Michael concert. At IUP in 2003, I FINALLY got to meet CHRIS. October 19, to be exact.
I have so many great memories...

Hi everybody
The first time I saw Michael was in 1995 at Pavarotti & Friends, Modena Italy (at that time I was living in Verona -Italy) on TV,
I felt soon in love with his voice and songs (and of course with him), I bought soon his CDs because I didn't know him!
15 YEARS HIS FAN
Unfortunately I couldn't see him live till 2008, my first concert at AVO SESSION - BASEL - SWITZERLAND, great concert, small and intime theatre, after a while I could go (better say "run to") near the stage and see him very close, the dream of my life, second concert this year in Zürich, again near the stage and this time I gave him my card as a present... so I'm waiting for other 100 new concerts... MICHAEL, I love you!!!
