Here we go with the New 2011 Concert Tour Review Thread. Michael's tour begins again in the USA in Florida on January 13, 2011!!!!!!!!  I hope Michael is well rested and ready to get back out on the road!

 

Please share your concert experiences, pictures, video links etc. with us here. We love hearing about the concerts and the great times had by the fans.

You all have made these threads fun in the past and I look forward to more adventures and fun this year!!

I look forward to reading everyone's reviews once again and also contributing some of my own in 2011!

Thanks for finding and sharing this article......does make you wonder though when concert has been moved to smaller venue if tickets not selling.....hope too Michael's talk of more albums per year does not lead to less concerts per year !!!!!!!  LOL    Doom and gloom - that's me !!!!  Think you will have gathered I am a pessimist, nothing optimistic about me at all !!!!!!  LOL.  Thanks again for the article - a lovely read !!!  :)

Hi Sylvia, Not sure why the concert moved but hopefully it's all good and it's more suitable for MB's show.  We've had times with less concerts and others with non-stop concerts and I think it's one of those things that's always changing. Be positive-We will have concerts and TV appearances and great album sales!!LOL   MB sounds like he is changing in that he knows he has to release albums more frequently than he had been in the past from the way that reads.  I love hearing about the new people he's collaborating with.. I don't know how he does it coming up with so many new and wonderful songs over the years!! Love it!!

I'm going to be POSITIVE!!LOL  I know tho it could be May and it could NOT be May. I'm used to MB time too!LOL

(Crossing finges and HOPING FOR MAY tho!)

I bet Eileen will be pleased to hear about a "more intimate surrounding" for the concert - think it would be a lovely setting too to hear and see him and I know what you are saying about being positive - I think it is as I get older and there are times I still see him as a young man then suddenly I realize; no wait a minute, he is just a shade behind you - could retirement loom, but that is being negative for Michael himself has never hinted at it, more the opposite, although as you say he may change the format a little, from time to time, and hopefully that may extend his longevity and although we all want to see him in concert it has to be more important to be able to hear his wonderful voice and that, we will be able to do, with more albums and certainly the new one, which looks not too far away, sounds more than interesting ....can't wait even just to hear one song from it !!!!!!  :)

I love the excitement knowing when Michael comes out with a new album&when you get it; can't wait to hear the new sound.

 

I thought I read that the concert hall in Springfield MA was changed.  Love small venues. The sound&all.

It certainly is exciting to know that there will be a new album this year and, hopefully, this side of summer and by the names of those he has been collaborating with it sure does sound as if it is going to be GOOD - as I said can't wait to even get a taste of just one song !!!!!  :))

Most of the artists i'm not familiar with but it's all good. I'm surprised Celine Deon hasn't collaborated with him on singing a duet. Darn.

It would be good to hear them singing again together because they definitely were good when they did "Hold on, I'm Comin'"  - I wouldn't have thought there voices would have blended and yet they did - it was pretty good !!!  Maybe one day we will hear again - who knows !!!!  :)

Listen. if Barbara Strisand can sing duets with anyone, there's hope for Michael. i forgot about Hold on I'm coming. Love it. She's pretty good. JMO about Barbara Strisand as I have respect for those who may be fans of hers. I'm just not!!!!!

Hey Robin from CA, it seems everyone and their brother is making a duets album so nothing new under the sun. Some people can harmonize with anybody and I think Michael is one of those people. He can sing while still respecting the other artist's vocal space, if that makes sense. Any collaboration, songwriting or vocal would work for me and I'm sure would work for him too. You know Michael likes Barbra Streisand - he follows her on Twitter - so do I because I love her......think she has a unique, wonderful voice - and her dueting with Barry Gibb - WOW - love their two albums ....knock-outs !!!!! :)   BUT, if you don't like her ......................................nothing will change your mind.  To be serious,  her voice is not run-of-the-mill, therefore, you will either like or definitely not like - so we will agree to disagree - okay Robin ????  :D

I do respect Strisand fans. I know she sings with Barry Gibb. I guess her personalities lessens my opinion of her. But because I love you Sylvia, as they always say, if one can't say anything nice about someone, not to say anything at all&I respect you love Barbara or BABS. I've lost my liking for Dianna Ross too. her yucko personality. :(

I don't want to hurt anyone. but I still say, Louie Armstrong should have just stuck with the saxophone. OMG.
